111.9 for unleaded here too - Morrisons (who seem to be the cheapest in this area for some unknown reason - Tesco are consistently 2p more.)

Urgh. Lol. Returning 40MPG here though so I can't really complain too much.

I got tired of paying up to £500 a month for fuel so I bought myself the bluemotion edition of the VW Passat at the turn of the year, its averaging 64mpg :)

I get almost 1000 miles to a tank of diesel now.

    Wow.

    I don't get 30 mpg:(

It really has little to do with how many MPG your vehicle does, it is more about is your journey really necessary.;)

Or about living in a country were decent quality of live is to be expected in the 21st century, or never to move out of the village in which you were born, as in days gone by.????

In all seriousness I think it's a combination of both the points you mention ;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

I have no idea what he drives but quite a few Japanese imports are set up for high octane petrol only (does not have to be V-power though)

    That's my point.

Shell V Power is 97 Octane, whereas most other Super Unleaded is 98 Octane.

Why would someone think that they have t use just on specific brand of petrol?

Running my Astra on free waste vegetable oil from the staff restaurant at work. Put 50 litres in at a cost of zero pence on Feb 12th and still have over half a tank left. F.U. Alistair Darling !

why do people complain about petrol like they have no choice but to pay it?

Maybe people should stop seeing cars as essential modes of transport.

I would like to see us follow the chinese way of thinking, scooters and motorbikes far outnumber the amount of cars over there.

Its greener, cheaper and more fun.
