I've just started letting her outside so hopefully wont have a repeat performance again lol. I can laugh about it but its just a bit of a pain. Luckly all the products that were in the box escaped it lol (and they are for me anyway)0

She has always played with the Avon boxes. However I left one on the living room floor which had all my paperwork and bags in. Well she has peed in it _pale_
So now I've got to order a load more bags.
PMSL!
Sorry :rotfl::D:eek::T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -

I do that. i bought some coloured paper from a crafty shop and printed them from the Avon website.
Get four on A4 and i fill them in, day before delivery and take them out. give them 2-3 notice usually like this
Delivery on Thursday 29 blah, 6-7pm ish
Amount due £9.99
Call *****88*****88 for alternative delivery
Not really had much of a problem, did it from first delivery.:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -

I do the same thing, and have done since my first delivery. I wait for my online invoice to see if anything is out of stock, then I do a note to put through the door:
Thank you for your recent Avon order.
It will be delivered on Tuesday 23rd March after 5:30pm, the amount of £15.00 is due to be paid on delivery.
Unfortunately, the 8 in 1 Eye Palettes are currently out of stock, expected to be in stock in approximately 6 weeks time. I will discuss this with you when I deliver your order.
Please make sure you have cash ready (correct money helpful).
If this date is inconvenient please contact me.

Obviously I leave the stock info paragraph out if there are no probs. Then the only grovelling I have to do is if Avon forget to put an item in the box.
I just do the notes on white A4 paper - print 'em at work, cut them up, and then drop them before I go home!
Nothing spectacular but 90% of people are prepared and have the right money ready. That didn't necessarily happen on the first camp, but they are well trained now lol!!0 -
Yep perservence is definately key - if your customers know that you'll tell them when you are coming, and that they can rearrange if it isn't suitable, most people are usually pretty accomodating, particularly if they know you work / have kids whatever. Most of my customers know both me & oh work funny hours so they are pretty helpful, as they know if they don't let us know, then it could be a while before we are actually able to deliver their order.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Also pearl shine - stock update says available mid campaign 7 whatever that means! Everybody is on camp 7 at different times!! Few other things as well, but am keeping my fingers crossed.
Had 2 "to follow" from about 2 or 3 campaigns ago, and they came this time (C6 delivery), along with one I had ordered. Had already bought a couple of ebay though so have a few in stock now, don't want to return them in case theres further stock problems! if anyone gets desperate just let me know.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I sympathise over your cat - mine loves "box day" as I call it, as soon as I let him in from the conservatory (hes a house cat, and the conservatory is his "bedroom") on delivery day he eyes up all the boxes, climbs all over them, and tries to get in them. Then once I've bagged up the orders and stored them in the boxes, he tries to stick his paws into peoples orders to have a nosey lol! End up with holes in bags quite often! Thankfully he has never gone to the toilet in anything other than his litter box though!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Hi Everyone,
It's been ages since I've had time to log on, and have just caught up with all the posts! LucyClare and MC, well done on your parties - you have inspired me to think about doing one (although not for a few weeks yet as I'm still getting used to everything). Congrats on your job too Aureol!
Now I was wondering whether I could ask for some advice. I've just had my first delivery (woop woop) and have realised that the smoothies are called body wash rather than hair and body shampoo. I didn't get the message that the text was wrong in the brochures as it is my first campaign and I have sold loads of these. Should I tell my customers and give them the option to return them? I don't want to put the idea in their heads but obviously don't want to annoy them either. What would you guys do?
Also I am panicking rather as I kind of gave myself a rest after the order was submitted, and have only realised today that the next order has to be in in 2 weeks . Do you all start handing out your brochures for the next campaign as soon as your order is submitted?
On a positive my friend has been round for a cuppa this evening and ordered some underwear, so that's me off the mark for my next campaign, and OH has just offered to help me sort the orders out - he says as he has worked in despatch in a warehouse before he is best qualified to do it lol:D
Anyway sorry for the length of the post, am just worrying somewhat! xxxx0 -
Hi MissyTheCat, thank you for the congrats
Me personally, when I hand out the orders, put a book in with their orders. I give these customers a week to look at their book and then go and collect (hopefully) any orders. With the rest of my territory, I would start putting the books out now, they get them for a couple of days and then I go and collect them. But with me working 3 days have to rethink my drop off and collection days.
Are you sure you only have 2 weeks until your next order date? It should be 3 weeks.0 -

My delivery was today and my next order is due in online by Friday 16th April. Should it be three weeks from delivery or from when I submitted my order (which was last Friday?).
