We buy Avon delivery bags to take our orders out. they are not expensive. |In your welcome pack there is a Hello Tomorrow magazine, towards the back is the stationary section. You can select from the different ones they sell. Dont bother with mini.
Med and Large paper bags, maybe 10-20 med plastic bags (If they order a lot or if its heavy items, shower gels, shampoos etc)
They do a Representative Calling Card which does come in handy when you are trying to get your book back or arrange a delivery. and brochure bags so your books dont get ruined in the rain.
Freezer bags work too, especially on your first hit.
I do think that 343 homes is an awful lot, i do more, but i only do Avon. How many books did she give you? 20 or 40? to do 343 houses, you are likely to need 70-80.
Find a way that works for you and just take your time to begin with. You get quicker with practice. But im sure that you will love it, its a great way to get to know the people who live around you and make some really fantastic friends.:D:D:D
Well done, LC; sounds like you're on a roll now.
How great your system sounds - far better than my idea to spend eons ordering and pricing goods (not to mention making display stands from scratch.....)
Did think about doing a party in my own home but far better to have a hostess with a vested interest in the success of the party. Might look at that again later but need a rest first. (Actually feel like a weight has been lifted now mine's over.)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Unfortunately I can't have my deliveries sent to work as where I work we're under National Secruity as we a potential site for terroism (or protesters!). Hopefully the other rep in my village will be accomodating and take in my deliveries.
I thought 343 homes was a lot to start off with, especially as my ASML only gave me 20 books! Will pop them out today along my street (very lucky me area is where I live) and collect after the weekend.
Fingers crossedTurning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0 -

You will need to double check invoices - mine are going back!
Cheers for the heads up.:):T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -
Hi Gingerkirsty ...
I'd send that Quadra FX back and ask for a replacement. My OH uses the moisturiser and the eye cream and he's not said anything about the smell. I've got the eye cream and it doesn't smell of anything.
Sounds like a dodgy one to me ... you might want to leave it a couple of camps before you re-order just in case it is a dodgy batch (then they'll get through that batch and you'll get one from the new batch).0 -

Thanks, this one smells kind of 'fatty' and off
Sharpee good luck and I hope you enjoy it! As Lucyclare said large and med bags are a great starting point. I found I needed to get the mini ones as I often get orders for 1 mascara or lipstick and the med were too big.
MM thanks for the tip about back ordering clearance in HT, I've ordered some of the heel softening cream so I will keep an eye out.
Anyone getting 7 deliveries yet? My order is due in tomorrow but the eye creams are all showing iffy for delivery.K xx

Yes I noticed that ...... have an eye event and then all the eye stuff is low on stock!
Also pearl shine - stock update says available mid campaign 7 whatever that means! Everybody is on camp 7 at different times!! Few other things as well, but am keeping my fingers crossed.
Done OK this time, better than usual thanks to a wonderful order from a fabulous colleague for £80! Just spoken to a customer who has ordered £40 worth of stuff from clearance but she might send some of it back depending on quality ... hey ho.
Thanks also for the tip on the brochure bags, have put that new code on my order so fingers crossed!!0 -
I ordered Pearl Shine in C6 and it came ok (that was on 24th of last month)

Thanks - interesting!! Didn't order any last time, but got 2 on this order so will see if they are on my online invoice.
Rang Avon customer services today to try and find out whether their opening hours were different over easter. They close at 6pm on Good Friday and earlier on Easter Sunday, probably a 6pm close on Monday. All a bit vague, and he had to put me on hold for ages to confirm that.
If anybody else has, or manages to get, more info, can you let us know?0 -
Me and the cat are about to fall out!!!!!
She has always played with the Avon boxes. However I left one on the living room floor which had all my paperwork and bags in. Well she has peed in it _pale_
So now I've got to order a load more bags.0 -
