• The answer is the same as your main post.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
• Have now received a 913 word email received from Vinci Park Services (with 4 photos of our car). Have sent copy email to Savvy to upload for me. Extract below:

From studying the photographic evidence (see attached) provided by the Enforcement Officer (taken at the time of issue) I can see that he has acted appropriately as there is indeed no visible sign of a valid payment ticket on the vehicle dashboard area as seen through the windscreen.
As this is the area where the payment ticket is to be displayed, this is the only location where the Enforcement Officer will look, it is not his duty to pry into someone’s vehicle in an attempt to locate a payment elsewhere, if he cannot see one in the required area, he will issue the Notice.
The Adam Street car park is managed by Vinci Park Services Ltd and as per the terms of our contract with the our client the St David’s Partnership (Land Owner), we’re expected to adhere to that contract and act as per the procedures and arrangements that they have put in place.

The first factor (50% of the parking process) is entitled “PAY” – A payment must be made to purchase a valid ticket for the total duration of your stay.
The second factor (remaining 50% of the parking process) is entitled “DISPLAY” – The payment ticket must be clearly displayed face up on the vehicle dashboard as advertised on the bottom of the payment ticket.

Taking such a line basically is an admission that due diligence was not adhered to, which would scupper any subsequent contractual claim.

Also a nice admission that no money is legally owed.

I see we seem to be missing letters from County Parking. I was just reading a thread about them from pepipoo so here are the letters they use:

Philips letter

County Parking last letter

Maybe someone else can add the other details like fake PCN and other letters that lead up to these.

HTH
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

• I notice from one of these companies UK parking Control that they are claiming legal precedents in England and Scotland and lists of court cases. Does anyone know of anyone who has been taken to Court to pay a fee? (I have had a claim from TPS - my car was in an empty Pets at Home car park in Falkirk (shop was closed) from 7pm to 10pm and they claim the limit was 2 hours. I wasn't the driver, but none of the 5 people present saw any signs) . I live in England so difficult to go back and look at what's actually there. I have followed the advice, asked them to say who the driver was but am getting more letters which my wife is concerned about
thanks

Generally the best advice is to ignore their threats and intimidatory letters unless genuine court proceedings are issued. In case you wonder why I say "genuine" it's because some cowboy PPCs forge court papers.

Graham White Solicitors ceased trading in November 2005 and are not a legal entity I will be making enquiries with the FSA and trading standards as I believe their practices with roxbrugh are illegal i suggest all on here do likewise
• Hi, I received a parking charge notice from europarks whereby they have sent me a letter with my registration photographed going into the car park and coming out, I was 67 mins over the max advised time.

I've read various posts and am concerned they will take this further with debt collection agency and court. With them having photographs of my reg and the times, is this different from other letters received and should I pay?

Any advise would be a great help
