Hi froggy1, if the letter you've received doesn't appear under APCOA, it would be great if you could upload. Don't forget to remove details as mentioned in the sticky thread. Thanks :)

Guess sites like MSE, CAG and Pepipoo should take it as a compliment that more PPCs are starting to advise that "certain websites' advice be ignored" :j

The two links for PCS letters 1 and 2 are broken. I have both of these letters so if I have time I will send copies.
  • I now have two further letters, this time from Zenith Collections, again at the Ashton Under Lyne address. They are entitled "Notice of debt recovery assignment", and they refer to their client APCOA. The original letters were from Parking Collection Services.

    Hi,

Are the letters you received the same as what we've got in the first post?

If not and assuming you are willing to scan, obscure details and upload, it would be much appreciated :)
  • Hi Crabman.

I have the same letter from Zenith twice, relating to two different "offences". I can't see Zenith anywhere on the list above. I will scan one of these letters plus the two from Parking Collection Services when I have time, and upload them. You already have the Debt Recovery Plus letters, which are also follow-ups for Parking Collection Services.

  • Hi..

This weekend I parked in a retail car park, which is two hours free parking when a ticket is displayed, which I did, and displayed on my drivers window. When I returned to car there was a ticket from UKPC for 'parked without clearly displaying a valid pay and display ticket'...for £90!! cheeky sods!!!
Although the ticket has printed on it 'Display on dashboard this side up' as far as I am concerned I was displaying a valid ticket, albeit not in the place they stipulate!. I spoke to an attendant that I spotted to dispute, who said he could only advise what to do..but that he himself would check both dash and window, and that I should write to company and dispute.

I was all set to send them a nasty letter, but after reading this forum am tempted to just ignore.. what should I do??

What you should do is to start your own thread, as this one is only for listing letters sent out by parking companies.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
  • Hi I was issued a parking notice from exel they state we parked without displaying a valid ticket we did not purchase a valid pay and display ticket.

I emailed them back stating I am appealing against this fine due to the fact that I did purchase a valid ticket on that date and was clearly displayed inside the windscreen of my car. I appeal that you should check your pay and display data (electronic record in machine) and you will find that I paid the £3 which is required for all day Sunday parking. I hope that this is a satisfactory explanation and you are able to match a payment with the time and vehicle registration number.

They sent a letter that we contravened terms and conditions of the car park by not purchasing a valid pay and display ticket, they say they re checked their P&D data and can confirm that no ticket was purchased displaying the above vehicle registration number. There are signs on the pay and display machines which state that the vehicles full registration number must be entered into the keypad of the machine to purchase a valid ticket.

Are they saying that maybe the incorrect reg number was entered, although i haven’t kept the ticket, we did for a fact pay the £3 required for all day parking on a Sunday

Should we pay or ignore the further letters
    Hope someone can help me
