Question - when updating PPC letters do we want to retain links to the old ones?

If so, how should this be done? A sub-heading to say "Old/Previously Used Letters"?

Yes, good idea to keep them somewhere. Either after a sub-heading on this thread, or stored on your first post on the PPC letters discussion thread.

Many thanks for maintaining this sticky which is also linked on other forums, it is so useful.

Mrs B parked in 'fezzie park' in Hanley (Stoke on Trent) on 01/06/2011
She received first letter on 10/6 which we ignored (after seeing the excellent advice on here)
Second letter on 17/06 with the photo of her entering and exiting - ignored
Third letter on 29/6 entitled FINAL NOTICE, which we also ignored
We've not heard anything else since! :j

This thread on pepipoo is worth a look for Excel letters:

Seeing as I think some of our links here no longer work.

  • Hi all,

This has probably been done several times but I received a PCN(showing photos car time in and out) from Excel Parking Services in a car park Iceland Brigstock Rd, Thornton Heath for not displaying a valid ticket whilst parked. As far as I know when you shop at Iceland it's free parking, which I was doing. The night was chilly and the driver stayed in the car whilst I went in for shopping for around 40 mins.I want to know whether the pcn stands for shopping late in the evening where you can't easily spot the parking signs and since I was not the driver of the vehicle at that time.

This is not a discussion thread; this one is for showing the letters ONLY.

But you can ignore the fake ticket. Please read 'welcome, please read before posting' and watch the Watchdog video to put your mind at rest:

The first post has now been updated. Please, no more copying and pasting for the rest of this week! :D

The non-working links may as well be removed - if Pepipoo have specific forum threads for each PPC we could just link there where our links have become broken (due to expiry of people's image hosting accounts).

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to scan and upload letters and to the regulars (you know who you are) for your hard work and advice to newbies.
  • just a quickie, if a case ever gets to court do these cowboys have to prove that you have actually received any of the numerous letters they send out. what would the outcome be if you stood up and said i have never received any of these correspondence to the judge ??
