After the riots spilled over into Ilford, lets just say my job required me to be working all the hours under the sun, I overstayed in one of the town centre car parks and started receiving letters from Parking Eye, now Roxburghe and I presume soon Graham White Solicitors.
I wanted to share with you how Roxburghe have changed their letters to possibly become even more intimidating, in particular;
We are fully aware of anecdotal information being presented via the internet and on various websites and you may feel this guidance is worth following. We strongly urge you to speak to independent legal advice rather than rely on these opinions, and we would respectively suggest that you refer to the Civil Procedure Rules part 31*, and more specifically parts 31.16 and 31.17.
We have seen that letter before. What the idiots omit to mention is that those particular Civil Procedure rules don't apply to the Small Claims track. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
on the third letter so far, thought you might like to add them onto the list. Hope this works, they're on my Photobucket acc... s942.photobucket.com/albums/ad270/pig28stgboo/CP%20Plus/0

What a waste of their time! Thanks for posting them and please update with more as and when you get them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And here's a link to a post on pepipoo which shows the Flashpark letter-chain again which we used to have on here but the links stopped working:

They use the same CCS letters as G24 it seems. The OP of that thread has said it's OK for Crabman to add the letter links here.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello, I was hoping for a littel advice as i am panicking like mad!
I have recieved a letter from UKCPS advising me that i parked in one of there areas nearly 3 weeks ago and the £60 fine has now gone up to £100 because i have not responded or made payment! I have parked in the spot for years and never recieved any tickets therefore i presume UKCPS had only just taken over the spot recently.
There was no parking ticket on my car when i returned so did not know anything about this until i recieved the late payment notification. This is worrying as the vehicle could have been parked there twice more since the issue of the first ticket (none of these occasions has a parking ticket been on the car). So i have potential of 3 tickets on the car! needless to say if i had revieved the first ticket i wouldnt have parked there on the other 2 occasions!!!!!!
Before visiting the website i contacted UKCPS to let them no i have no prior notification or information of what they are taking about and that it may not ahve even been me driving however they have asked me to respond via there appeal procedure- which i feel will be pointless!
From your great comments, advice and help i can see your main advice is to ignore the communications from UKCPS as none of them have ever gone to court, however i have checked there website and there is evidence of half a dozen cases going to court and UKCPS winning therefore i am a bit apprehensive of ignoring the communication i recieve from them just in case.
Has aony one else experianced this with the company?
Thank you in advance for any help and advice0 -

This is interesting as I've just had my 2nd letter from Civil Enforcement and it is worded slightly differently to the one you have posted in the sticky.
Instead of, "Notice Before Legal Action," at the top, it now says, "Final Reminder Before Legal Action."
Also, instead of saying, "Notice will result in us SEEKING A COUNTY COURT JUDGEMENT," in the main body, it now says, "Notice will result in us ISSUING AN IMMEDIATE COUNTY COURT SUMMONS AGAINST YOU."
Here is a link to the letter: http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...2/Parking2.jpg

My wife got this yesterday and started panicking as we didn't even know we had had a ticket. Apparantly she got a ticket in August this year. Just good to know that these type of forums exist to protect us....
