Well! I think I've been lucky! My size 12 bridesmaid has fitted into the size 10 dress and my size 16/18 bridesmaid has fitted into the 18 though both will need taking up by about 6 inches! Haven't heard about the tweenager yet, but I'm not too stressed over her even if we had to get her a slightly different style dress.
Can't believe BHS thought stopping a range of bridesmaids dresses in the middle of spring was a good idea!0 -

Don't buy in haste when you plan to lose weight. xx
thanks linda im not plannine on buying for a long time yet but id like to see what suits me and see what kind of styles are supposedly coming in. Im hoping its not all strapless as that looks awful on me.
i am going to be sensible about weight loss but its just me wanting to not being pressured. Thaanks for the advice though
and frannyann im sure your dress looks fab - i believe it was strappless which would just look rediculous on me and id spend the whole day worrying about it falling down or me falling out! lol
is it just a case of stepping into the dress? how much 'help' do they give you?0 -
i cant talk lots now as OH is dying to come on pc(stupid bejewelled) but id just like to say linda i love you and wish you were closer *gush*

Re: the roadworks, to be honest I was more annoyed about them being in the way for the pics I was planning than anything else. The reception is on the other side of the hotel so we shouldn't hear anything, although access for the cars might be a problem. They've already dug up a bit of the pavement so it's not like they can put it back just for me no matter how much I stamp my feet!
I'll find some other place for funky urban pics. Right now I can't be bothered fighting with anyone. I've got six stinky night shifts in A&E and I just want to get marrrriiiiiied!Married Ajichombo on 17th April 2010 :j0 -
Great - now the waistcoats have disappeared from the Debehams website - I give up.....0

...Talking about registry office costs I've found these vary, our local one will marry you for £40 during the week or £150 on a Saturday, plus the normal costs admin fees, certificates and notice.
£40 is usually for the back room, which is unlikely to fit anyone else in except you, OH & the registrar.Skint_Catt wrote: »Great - now the waistcoats have disappeared from the Debehams website - I give up.....
Ring them up - my bridesmaid dress fell off the website never to appear again, but I rang & was able to order one in the right size0 -

Have just won an auction on e bay for a pair of brand new shoes. I then googled them and it appears I have got a pair of £60 shoes for just over a tenner including p and p. Now that's MSE! More money to put in the wedding dress terramundi pot :-) It's getting quite heavy now!!Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0
