Beenie just want to say, it may feel like we're picking on you a bit, telling you what to do but it's only because we care about you and the LOs xx

What Sami said! I wish I lived close enough to come over and give you a big hug, etc. Ironically, a work colleague is doing a project with Durham Council and will be up there tomorrow :p:p...we all just want you and the kiddies to be well & happy :o I am comforted that Susan is luckily close enough in an emergency *hugs*.

baby group was good this morning - turns out they do free baby massage classes on Fridays! just need to phone up to see what time they start...useless HVs said they didn't know of any! *rolleyes smiley*

Beenie: eta that I don't think you can solely do it over the phone, mostly b/c I think they need a signature on the police report! I could be totally wrong though. Maybe ring the Refuge number SS gave and ask their advice? That can be an anonymous call.

Susan i'm gutted i missed the meet, and thanks for your very kind offer! It's nice to know i don't have to be on my own. It would have been ideal if !!!!!! showed up on Sat instead and i'd been out at the meet.

Aless, I don't use one. I bought one, a cheap one, didn't pick up anything except static so maybe used a whole 30secs.

Beenie, I'm going to add to the peer pressure. Please call the police. It will never get any better, he will never change so you have to make a stand.

Kindof, hope things speed up and its all over with soon xx

    Hi everybody else!

I know Caz, I was really looking forward to it as well :(

One part of me says just go and leave at 2pm (though I forget the time it starts) but I know we will then be so tired. Another part says that since they have never invited the boys to a party before, don't go. But she is my niece.

Need to arrange another one soon :D

It really doesn't. I'm actually sat here not knowing what to say because after all these months of me banging on about this and you're all STILL so nice and supportive even though i keep messing up and thinking he won't do it, and i feel like a fraud that you're all taking the time to write to me even though i don't deserve it cos i was asking for it in letting him cross the doorstep in the first place.
You did not ask for it. That is how they work - they make you feel like it is all your fault so that they can get away with it. You do not deserve to have someone turning up at your house taking drugs and hitting you and then blaming you for it all. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. You deserve to have friends who are supportive of you and I'm sure we all appreciate that it is easy for us to say what you should do but much harder for you to actually do it.

You're welcome. At five this morning Alice was requesting that we go back to the Giant's Den to see you!

Beenie, I'm going to stick my oar in too. Please, please do something. Please pick up the phone, even if it is just to log it. Also, stop putting yourself down, you can't help it if you want to see the good in him and want him to be good to you and the kids. Coping on your own with a baby and a 6 year old, must be exhausting. No one can blame you for wanting and wishing that he could just be normal and help out and make your life easier. But its not going to work, is it? Please start with the refuge number SS gave you, they then maybe able to give you the confidence to tackle the police and housing.

If you want someone to go with you for moral support to deal with police, housing or anyone else, just let me know and I'll quite willingly come. (And if you ever needed somewhere to go in an emergency, you would be welcome to stay with us.)

That is a very lovely offer from Susan and some fairy has been very lovely too. This restores my faith in human kind and shows that some people (your ex) are not even good enough to be peed on when SS sets them on fire.

Happy birthday to Seth & Kai and glad that MFD and family had such a lovely time with Benjamin on his' birthday.

It's not your fault, Beenie. :grouphug:
I know I'm asking over and over again, but I hate feeling helpless that someone I like is in trouble and I can't help. It tends to make me bossy. Please look after yourself, lovely.

Molly is eating a rubber duck while vintage Sesame Street rubber duckie songs play in the background. Molly is immaculately dressed; I am in flannel jammies. This is not an optimal work environment for me. No wonder I'm not getting anything done.

Edit: I wish I was close enough to set him on fire, or that I was a builder called Dave so me and my big burly builder mates could hunt him down.
