Kindof.. they could have done a sweep as well.. or rather they should have! 2cm is nothing and it is really common in late pregnancy for the cervix to be opened that far due to the pressure of the baby anyway.. I had 3 weeks of this when having DS1 so I know how horrible it is (except I had a 34 hours labour after all that too). The only reason he decided to come the day he did was I had a wedding I'd been invited to lol.

KOAG I was induced so my experience was totally different, but I'd say call them and let them know you're on your way as soon as you start thinking that they gave you sugar pills instead of cocodamol.

I dont know when to ring back cos they said just to ring when they get stroinger?? so far they have been 5, 8, 2, 3, 5, 4 and 4mins apart

1/2 to 1 cm per hour is pretty normal, especially if you can walk around or rock on your ball in between contractions, so that would mean 2 ish hrs after you were 2 cms.

Can you do stairs at all, my friend had a slow progressing labour and did stair walking in a crab like legs apart knees bent sort of a way which is meant to help. Only go up half a flight tho so if a contraction comes you're not marooned on the stairs :)

Elliot! you slip out all nice and easy now y'hear? Love from all your MSE aunties in waiting :)

    Elle - done ;)

I know i need to report it etc but i really don't have any strength in me to do it. I'll aim to do it this afternoon...

Anyway i'm shutting up about it now. I've gone on long enough about this whole thing, since i was 20w pregnant, in fact.

Beenie, one call, please. It's a freephone one, and it's to Refuge. They'll take as much of the strain as they can: 0808 2000 247

Yes.. but if you have money in the account I suggest to get the card stopped immediately and even if no money has been stolen ring the police!! It is stealing from you and potentially his daughter.. they can find out if an attempt has been made to use the card

I have one for when he's in his own room but would 'never' use a breathing monitor I see them as just adding to my worries.

Beenie PLEASE call someone, I don't care who but refuge/police someone please please please :)

Sweetie, if you don't feel up to calling the police or Refuge please stop the card.

Let yesterday be the last of the damage he does to you and your kids.
