It's best you've been sent home hun, you're definitely more comfortable there... It seems terrible that you're not 9cm now but make the most of the quiet time, relax a bit... Have some shreddies... Make your OH run round after you for loads of menial tasks... In a few hours the really hard work starts!!

    Have some ((hugs)) :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

kindof you are not a wuss, I found 2cms very intense too.

    also you are knackered!

Have you got still energy drink?

Have some of that... If it's fizzy, stir it a bit to make it less fizzy then it won't be so likely to make you sick...

Get DH to lean his two forearms either side of your spine going up from your bum to your lower back (with you on all fours) as you have a contraction.

Get him to count them down. Take as deep breaths as you can.

Think of how much you love elliot.

    We're here for you!

Remember like tia says: pain, pain, push, push, BABY! tea and toast! :)

and entonox when you get it is superb, just breathe it deeply and slowly. And pethidine is lovely too, but ask for it by 8cms if you need to, cos they can't after. (if you're progressing at more than 1cm per hour, request sooner if you need to...)

Morning. This will be my only selfish and miserable post today i promise! :o

Eye doesn't look that bad anymore, just looks like a shadow. I thought it would have got worse. I'm scared to brush my hair properly cos it hurts :( I brushed it a bit this morn and big clumps came out and my head throbs. Why the hair? grr. I just curled up in a ball so i guess hair was easiest.
Don't think i have the strength to fight the council anymore. They've all given up on me. My HV said she was coming to see me last week, and hasn't been in touch. Housing officer hasn't rang for weeks and i've been put in band 4 (the lowest) for a 2 bed house?
All this is making me insanely jealous/bitter that my b!tch of a sister has been given everything on a shiny plate and somehow has a new shiny car i saw this morning, wonder which of her latest men bought her that. And why did the council give her a 3 bed in the most popular area of town, AND housing benefit actually pay for her to have 3 beds?? All the policies state your eldest must be 10yo or they'll only pay for 2 beds.
Maybe she planned it from the start when she got with, and had a child with a chavscum of a man who had tried to set her sisters house alight through the letterbox when me and DS were sleeping for no apparent reason.

It's just not fair. I've never betrayed anyone or tried to hurt anyone. Why does my ex want to hurt me? It all started because i made a dinner and he was napping on the sofa with Amber while i cleaned up after everyone. I put her in the moses and he went mental?? I'd love to nap on the sofa with my baby, but there was loads to do and i had to take her nap as the chance to get them done. He comes here for one day and sleeps on my sofa after i fed him?? !!!!!!? He sleeps in til 1pm everyday cos he's working 2-10. I bit my tongue but clearly couldn't hide my disgust, so he jumped to his own conclusions and kicked off.
I can't even bring myself to be ok with the fact he came here to snuggle up with Amber and he does NONE of the hard work that goes with it. I know it's bonding time but she was asleep and i was like a zombie. He's so selfish. Or maybe i'm just expecting too much.

Oh btw, he's still getting JSA even though he's working. Thinks he won't get caught cos the chavs he knows "do it all the time" so how do i report him?
CSA will likely award me £5pw for the JSA but it should be more. He's not even getting cash in hand so i have no idea how he will get away with it.

Beenie, go report it, please. I know it seems like a lot to fight the council and their apathy - but you're not on your own, lovely girl.

It can all be done in stages. If you're feeling really low call the domestic violence helpline - they can tell you the right steps to take and help you take them. And we're here for whatever you need.

it's true Beenie, it's not fair. You are a lovely person and it's so wrong that the good stuff happens sometimes to the people who aren't as loving as you.

It must be really painful to see sister have good things and ex to have good things.

I wish we could do more.

But we are here with our eyes to read and our hands to type (and some pretty fabulous fairies too I read :))

So report him!!!!! (or give me his NI number and place of work and I'll do it!) Then ring the police.. then the HV.. and then the idiots at the council, and give them the police log number. See if the HV will put you in touch with someone from the womens refuge.. they are quite possibly able to offer advice and definitely some support to get you through this.

Then make an appointment with a solicitor... you think Amber needs a creature like this in her life? So she can grow up with no respect for you or thinking it is how normal people behave and think it is ok for her partner to do the same to her? There is also the chance of him turning on her when she is a little demanding or gives him back chat.. you have to remove him from her life.. and yours.

Of course you don't deserve it any more than anyone else who has a total f-quit in their life deserves it.

You have to take a stand right now for your future and hers!!

KOAG how exciting it's actually happening now!!!

Take some paracetamol and try to doze between contractions. And if you can manage to eat something light, this is a good time - think of all the work you'll be doing later. Just nothing eggy or oniony or garlicky (unless your midwife is mean and you want to trump at her a lot :rotfl:).

Ive had co-codemol, I cant doze :( they are currently, 5, 8, 2, 3, 5, 5 mins apart so far, so Ive no chance of sleeping although I need it :)

Pigpen, they did an internal to see how far dialated I was?

Thanks Weezl :) I forgot we have lucozade I am going to get one now, cos yeah I am totally knackered

I dont know when to ring back cos they said just to ring when they get stroinger?? so far they have been 5, 8, 2, 3, 5, 4 and 4mins apart
