Susan i caught a bit of the NE news but didn't see you :(

I've been out so no idea if council bint has been to have words with Freaks, but they're not doing it atm, won't hold thy breath though.

Went to Halfords and wasn't impressed at the lack of staff to ask for advice. So went to JJB and the blokey in there said deffo get him a 20" cos he can touch the floor on it albeit tiptoes, and would grow straight out of the 18".

    Confusedddddddddd!!!

DS had to go and ruin it for himself though by demanding we buy him a new bike there and then, for no apparent reason (and aswell as a birthday present!). He acts so spoilt  i was lucky if i got a sweet bought for me yet he keeps demanding Wii games and bikes during casual strolls in the shops.

Maybe a little bit of responsibility towards his son rather than being sidelined while someone else does everything would be the making of the lad?

Maybe, it just seems like he's been enjoying his time with his brother in the house at the expense of making the effort to get involved.

I leave OH lists when I'm out for the day. Normally they're filled with twice as much stuff as I want him to get done, so I come home and half of it's done, but that's the amount I wanted done anyway :rotfl: I do find it frustrating though that he puts her in her various play zones (mat, playgym, baby cage, L&G, door bouncer) and lets her amuse herself in them rather than spending more time with her, and I wonder if that's just him or if it's a manly sort of thing.

    Gorgeous jha, well done!

And well done Becles, it's wonderful handing stuff in, such a sense of achievement!

I love the idea of adopting sibling groups too.

No [STRIKE]man[/STRIKE] one really makes an effort if they can get away with not doing it though! For example, if my OH cooked my dinner for me 7 nights a week without being asked I'd prob start just sitting on my arsey expecting it.

I think thats a man thing, my OH does that. K's always in or on sonething when OH has him! Along with the constant need to have 'something' on TV or whatever, its a gadget thing!

    yey, can say arsey!

Krystal – Skanky area you are referring to is called Scotland!
I didn't mean to call the whole of Scotland Skanky... Just BM's bit... lol:cool: I think free toothpaste for children is cool though... I worked in a nursery when I was doing my NNEB and half the children had black stumps where teeth were supposed to be... :(

Aimee has moments like that too... Maybe it's an age thing? She's certainly not [STRIKE]too[/STRIKE] spoilt but sometimes, every shop you go in, all you get is "can I have one of these?" at EVERYTHING!! Drives D up the wall... I just mostly ignore it... Or tell her the answer is no, before she even asks...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'm a bit guilty of sitting on my butt expecting dinner, but I'm getting better at making it or, more likely, bringing in fresh pasta parcels and some veg for a sauce and making instant dinner. My main thing is that if one person's doing something and there's something else that needs done, the other should be doing it. So if I'm folding laundry and Molly poops, I'll ask him if he wants to finish folding the laundry or clean up the poop. I wouldn't do both unless I was here by myself.

The background noise/running gadget thing bewilders me. I have a baby; I like it when things are briefly quiet, I don't want it ruined with noise!

I'm sure you already know this, but adoption placements which fail is often attributed to how traumatised the child has been by their early experience/how able they are to form new attachments. Having a sibling who they stay with throughout is one of the best buffers to that early trauma.
I nearly mentioned that sibling groups usually do better but I decided I didn't really need to give that much detail.

Guessing that if from China though the eldest sibling would be left with the birth parents? :(
In China a baby would be abandoned either because it was an unauthorised pregnancy (and the mother abandons the baby so as to be untraceable due to the penalties assosciated with having an unauthorised child) or because they were a girl and the parents would rather have a boy. (Although in rural areas if your first born is a girl you are allowed a second child now.) The majority of children in "orphanages" in China are girls and it would be very rare for them to have known siblings.

    Evening everyone,

I've caught up but can't remember anything, so hugs, hello, well done, good luck and congratulations.

Katie is ok in shops at the moment she is happy to put stuff back.

But she is turning to a bit of a whinge queen if DH is about and she isn't getting her own way - he's way too soft with her = me getting very frustrated as I have to be telling off mummy quite a lot.

So tonight when I got in instead of me sending them out to the park whilst I cooked tea, I took her she had been with him all afternoon.

Adoption - DH and I had decided to started seriously looking into adoption just before I got pg - we also wanted a sibling group.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it

    Evening all...

We didn't go to Boogie Babies :o Rhys decided on a second random nap just before lunch, then wouldn't eat his lunch then we were running late so we binned the idea  (I might have had a bit of a strop too but we'll gloss over that, better now :o)

Instead we sorted Rhys' clothes and now they're all listed on Gumtree-ish. Fingers crossed they all go soon and leave me some room! Anyone need anything in particular from Tiny Baby up to 0-3mth size? (as a fairy freebie, I mean). If I sort the storage boxes in Rhys' room, we'll have room for the futon in there, finally! Also tried lots of shoes and socks on Rhys and threw out a load of socks. Anyone want blue or white pop on shoes/booties in newborn or 0-3mth size? Also found lots of popper bibs too! :D (thankyou for your offer Krystal but I think we're sorted now :A) They're soft and patterned ones I bought which I didn't really want to ruin with food stains but they're there doing nothing so gonna be brave and get 'em [STRIKE]stained[/STRIKE] used :o

We've been getting silent phone calls all day; doing my head in!

OH has spoken to visiting friends (his godsons and their parents) and their special request is fish and chips - since they're visiting Grimsby! Sorted! :D Except now someone's mentioned F&C I've been craving them all day! :o

Am sure I had something else to say... I kinda caught up then fell asleep so forgot it all :o *hugs* all round anyway ;)
