Susan, were you waiting for your review of the cleaning spray to appear on BB? its on there now
Can't say I was on the edge of my seat really. Do you live on that site?

ooo just realised that a little over a year ago (this week) I first found out I was pregnant!! Am I really a saddo in that I still seriously miss being pregnant? :o I actually absolutely loved it.
I guess you had a nice pregnancy.

Oh Susan, that bites! The pool I usually go to also has lane ropes but even though it's designated parent & baby time, there's still swimmers not using the lanes and being in the areas that the babies are in. It's really annoying and I wish the staff would enforce it - what's the point of a pool programme if people just do what they want?
I don't really mind people swimming up and down not in the lanes if there's still space for people who aren't doing that but it was the fact they were taking up the whole width.

Also dumb about the "deep end". I was a qualified lifeguard in the USA for a few years and we never had any rules like that - as long as the adult was a confident swimmer then it was up to them.
I was even wearing a swimming hat from a long distance swimming event so it should have been obvious I'm fairly competent.

Is it worth speaking to the staff next time so that poor Alice can enjoy herself? Perhaps they can raise the level next time at the very least.
I'm considering whether to write a letter complaining (since there were so many objectionable things) but I may just not go there again. They also gave me a form to fill in and bring back next time to "register" Alice to get in free where you have to put all sorts of details such as your ethnicity - seems a bit "Big Brother"ish to me.

I hated being pregnant. It does not work for me atall! Would rather give birth 10 times in a row than be pregnant.
That's what I told OH the day Alice was born. (Although I only said three times - not ten.)

aww, it's really different for everyone I'm sure. Some people love ironing, after all :rotfl:.

(but in all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with hating being pregnant either. I just personally happened to immensely enjoy it. Of course, I may eat my words when the next one is miserable!)

hammy, I saw your post about being in remission. :T:T:T I hope it continues positively for many years to come. (also, the fairies still have a little something for you, they haven't worked out exactly what to send yet! ;))

i think each pregnancy is different and I hope susan and csh have a lovely one next time to compensate :)

Mine was fine with Fergie, but harder with Kez, but I think that was kind of self-induced because I hadn't given my body very long to mend.:o

My labour with Kessie was quick too, going from 4 cms to fully dilated in 1 hr 10:eek::eek: which scares me a bit about a number 3 pregnancy. Which DH is adamant he will never want :rotfl:

And I agree about Hammy. All good healthy vibes for you :):A

And yet I did just go to have a look at it.

I thought I gave a fairly negative review but apparently I gave the highest score.

Was that when I was racing Chris down the big slide?? :rotfl:

He learns so fast - he watched my friends LO on all 4s rocking then he started doing it!
We did the ball rolling last Saturday and he was having fun but it was a proper football so didn't go far when he pushed it. Need to get a lighter ball.

I get the pampers sensitive ones goes I find they don't dry out like most other wipes.
Plus I use them on my face and they are silky smoooooooooooooooooth!

I loved being pregnant up until 30 weeks when I got diagnosed with GD :( but I still ate what I wanted!
yeah you were sliding :D don't get the super cheap asda/tesco ball pool balls - Ed crushes them so they're useless after 2mins!

lol Susan! It came up on my facebook and I remembered you'd talked about it. RRP £6 though  what a rip off!!!
Mind you they've just posted reviews for a crayola ITNG colouring thing that Chris has, we paid £7 for it (and I thought it was a bit pricey for what you get!) but the reviers say the RRP of £20 is ok *shrug*

Aless- I absolutely loved every minute of being pregnant with DD and really missed my bump for months after she was born, this time round though it is a whole different ball game. Because all my time is taken up with DD (who is 22 months now) I feel like I haven't had time to enjoy the nice bits, just get lumbered with the yukky bits that you can't ignore ie sickness, really sore hips/ pelvis, tiredness etc. I will be glad when this little monkey is born (still 8 weeks until due date!!!)

Though I will say second time round the bonus is that it goes really quickly as your not so focused on it so it's swings and roundabouts! :D
