    Afternoon All

Thank you for the lovely birthday wishes, I will pass them on to Kai when he wakes up from his nap:D The older two had a ball this morning 'helping' him open his pressies. Kai, on the other hand got hold of the winnie poo phone (the first one to be opened) and then couldn't have cared less that he still had more to open:rotfl:

    Happy Birthday to Seth

Beenie - I agree with the others...phone the police and get it logged, also might be best to find out about getting an injucton against him.

Kindof - I hope you can get a bit of rest before things get too intense!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Thanks for the advice on the coughing - it doesn't wake him and it doesn't wake me when I go to bed.

Monitors - I only ever have mine on when Jack goes to bed at night and I am downstairs with the TV on. Our house is quite big, need to keep doors closed cos it gets draughty and I'm mutton jeff so find it hard to hear him with the TV on.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAI & SETH :j:j

Beenie - Please get the card cancelled and report it as stolen. You do need to make that call hun, get it logged in case he comes back - if he does, ring the police, they will see he has been violent before and will get to you ASAP. I know it's hard but we are all here to support you :grouphug:

Incidentially, how do you know the difference between just a cold and subsequent cough and a chest infection? :o One of the girls at Boogie Babies held Rhys for a while last Thursday and he was a bit raspy/rattly which I'd just put down to the end of his cold and cough but she asked if he had had a chest infection :(
my lot have a few episodes of chest problems each year and the doctor told me that the main sign of something not being quite right was watching their stomach as they breath. normal breathing wont move the stomach a lot but if the stomach is moving a lot and just under the ribs has sunk slightly then get them to doc/hosp asap. i really hope that makes sense now??

i wish i stayed closer to you, cancel the card and please speak to someone from the helpline. they may give you advice and may also be able to help rehouse you so he cannot come back. you need to remember that you and your kids are the most important things and you all need to be and feel safe xx

We had a sound one for the first few months because otherwise we wouldn't hear her crying.

Don't think i have the strength to fight the council anymore. They've all given up on me. My HV said she was coming to see me last week, and hasn't been in touch. Housing officer hasn't rang for weeks and i've been put in band 4 (the lowest) for a 2 bed house?
It's probably still worth reporting it to the police just so that there's a record as then it gives you the option in the future to use it as supporting evidence for a move.

If you want someone to go with you for moral support to deal with police, housing or anyone else, just let me know and I'll quite willingly come. (And if you ever needed somewhere to go in an emergency, you would be welcome to stay with us.)

  • Beenie- I just spoke to my OH and he says that if you call the police on their non-emergency number they can send someone round to you for you to make the report. The number emergency number is 0345 6060365. Tell them what has happened and that you have a small baby. Big hugs for the three of you.

Happy Birthday Seth and Kai! Hope both the little men have brilliant first birthdays.

oh thought you'd all like this lil fact-aroo mentioned at church yesterday
    Most prolific mother ever
The greatest officially recorded number of children born to one mother is 69, to the wife of Feodor Vassilyev (b. 1707–c.1782), a peasant from Shuya, Russia. In 27 confinements she gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.
 apparently the bloke had a 2nd wife too!

It really doesn't. I'm actually sat here not knowing what to say because after all these months of me banging on about this and you're all STILL so nice and supportive even though i keep messing up and thinking he won't do it, and i feel like a fraud that you're all taking the time to write to me even though i don't deserve it cos i was asking for it in letting him cross the doorstep in the first place.

    Thanks everyone. So much.

If i rang the number gisi gave me, can i tell them i don't want anyone to come out, but i just want to 'log' it and ask for a number? Or will that not work? I already had a letter from social services the other week cos of the last time the police were out. Apparently it's just procedure when police are called to where kids are and they're not acting on anything.
