.. El We've missed you. Did you enjoy your night without Rhys, or worry all night about him?

Mix of both.. :o Think I sent my mum "Everything okay?" txts roughly every two hours  It was nice to go out with OH though too! :)
.. should only be having 16oz of milk a day now..

Oh ta, I asked this a while ago :)

Rhys is only drinking 450ml a day for definite, sometimes an extra 100ml  (and he'd drink even less if it wasn't EBM cos he keeps expressing his disgust at formula atm... Maybe that's good enough for the docs! :p)

Appointment with Rhys' GP (I can see any - been registered there so long I've forgotten who I'm actually registered with.. he probably left years ago!) for Tuesday morning.. With Rhys in tow since he wants to meet him, as he told my Dad last time he bumped into him in the street! ;)

Thanks PP and Beenie. I tried it with the rubber bit off and didn't make any difference. I'm just not getting anything out with it and I can't really feel any suction, I'll keep trying it though!

Right I need to eat then feed Alfie again before we set off

Catch you all later hope you all have a good day :)

But, 16oz doesn't seen a lot. Not sure what it is in new measurements, but I always thought they should have a pint a day til 2?

Sami Whats the name of the play place we're going to?

PP I hope it goes well with the CM today. Fingers & toes are crossed.

oh meant to say Hi lovely Weezl! lol at the name thing, I used to get fed up of explaining that I'm Miss B Chris H's mum, before I got married - always made me feel like they were looking down at me *rolleyes*

3 - Chris only stopped his nightly pre-bed bottle about a year ago(I know I had a big bump when we did it) so just over 2yo :o I had to wait until he was old enough to understand complex language-ness because just giving him something other than a bottle resulted in bad times! He gave up all his other bottles around 1yr old IIRC
lol at the clean option! My car is minging at the mo because I hate sitting in the car while it's washed so it's not been cleaned while OH was away and we live across the road from a soil n stone selling business so get constant dust blown on it :p

Yep Tara, off to meet peeps at lunchy time :)

Some new mum woes here :D

Last night was a sleepless night to :(

BF was hurting so much i was crying everytime she sucked. And she was on there for about 9 hours (ish), i had an hour sleep in between.
She was mainly suckling for comfort, so at 4am i gave her a dummy. I wasn't going to, but it worked and she slept for 2 hours and woke at 6 and then 7 for another feed.
Was i ok to do that? :o

And also she hasn't pooped since like 8pm. Is that Normal? :(

Right now she's sleeping in this lay down baby chair thing, its quite small so i think she likes the compactness :)

I have to sort through all her newborn clothes (that i wahsed and folded all ready for her..)
Most of them only go upto 10lbs, which she'll be hitting soon!

I feel like that.. I've taken to "It's Lynsey, Rhys S's mum" now though might as well not bother with my name either! :o

Right now, I really am going to wake Rhys. Nudged him before but he opened his eyes, gave me a big cheesy grin, turned his head and shut his eyes again... ratbag!

Well at 1yo Chris was on about that I think, 7 or 8oz before b-fast and 9oz before bed

3 - i can't remember what age my other two dropped bottles completely maybe 18mths-2yrs...

Kai has 2 lots of 9oz bottles, one first thing and one last thing....There are 260mls in a 9oz bottle and a pint is about 560mls (roughly) so he is having 520mls, so just under a pint a day.

Yay EM for Seth walking :D

Question for those with bigger ones; When do they have no bottles?
HV yesterday was talking about it, saying to try the milk in a cup with one of those tops thats not quite sippy cup/not quite teat.
I can't remember when J & L stopped bottles completely, but they must have at some point because they're not on bottles now at 9 & 12. :D

Also, HV said V should only be having 16oz of milk a day now, not the 28oz she's currently on. But as she's also tall & slim , i'm not worried that she's overeating just yet.

Henry still has about 7oz cows milk in the morning and same before he goes to bed and he's 28months if thats any help... must admit I was wondering whether I should change him from a bottle but he wont drink it out ot his 'juice' beaker????
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
