Does he get grumpy when he throws up ?? It doesnt seem to register with Dylan when hes sick, he just thows up and carries on with what he was doing, no crying, no burping before or anything !!
Before we started on the losec (which suppresses stomach acid) he used to cry all the time (literally, and I was at my wits end). Now he still has periods when he cries inconsolably, but we also have good spells in the day, when he can go 40 odd minutes without crying. The actual throwing up doesn't seem to be the trigger for the crying though. His paed, having seen him do it, describes the actual vomiting as "effortless", but I suspect its the acid after effects which upset him.0 -
They just sort of drift out of it when they are around 8-10-ish. Although Joshua was standing on the landing talking to me stark naked a couple of days ago and he's 13 and errrm turning manly
I have a confession to makeMy neighbour is anti-breastfeeding and was saying I was mad for breastfeeding blah blah blah. She asked how do I know my breasts are sterile, so I told her I had a special tank that I had to fill up with sterilising fluid and I had to lean over and dangle my boobs in the tank for a few minutes before a feed.
She then came back full of thunder because she'd told her Mam and her Mam laughed at her for believing me:rotfl:
That Facebook thing is still lingering on. Another girl in the class, not connected to the original incident, has posted that James and his friend are bullying the girl who made the original allegations
Hey, I still walk in the room and talk to my mum when she is getting changed :rotfl: She comes into my bathroom when I'm in the bath and starts talking to me and I'm "Oh hey, I'm naked" and she is like "Oh don't worry, I'm not looking"
I think you are allowed too talk to your naked parents. It's a law or something.
Bet James has a wee stash of naughty pics now though, OH at 13 had a picture of the Spice Girls on his wall (as his mum wouldn't of allowed him rudie pics) that he had cut out of the paper, and he used to look underneath it to the page 3 model when he erm.....y'know :rotfl:0 -

Oh right, so its an acid reflux, Dylans is silent reflux so no associated pain, just cant keep it down. The paed seems to think that he will grow out of it by the time he is properly on solids, but at the minute he cant keep them down for long either.

not sure! That was the theory for a few months but the medications for acid reflux didn't stop the constant vomiting, and have only helped to a degree with his levels of unhappiness. The thinking now seems to be that its not reflux at all, but either an intolerance or some physical abnormality, but to be honest I don't think they really know, and nor do I!0 -
