  • 3 - I don't know the full details but it is something like he pays £100 per week and she only gets £70pw???

    Does that make any sense?

  • I'm new to this and need a little help. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I need help with a CSA query.

Will the csa increase cm payments if a nrp sells their house and pays the funds into the bank awaiting purchase of a new home? (House has never belonged to pwc)

    Would appreciate any help/direction :-)

Yes, she must be on Income Support. They take back the first £20pw to give back to the SOS (secretary of state).
It's why the CSA was set up originally, to make some money back to the government, to offset what they were paying out to the single mothers ;).
So, if she does go direct pay, and does it legally by telling IS what she's getting, she'll be no better off.
From April (I think - but i'm out of the loop now!), they're allowed to keep all of the maintenance on top of their benefits.

The quick answer is no - unless the PWC asks for a variation based on the NRP's earnings from savings interest.

However, you may be better starting a new thread on the Child Support board, here:- http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=140

heya ladies thanks for the advice re vits, will see how we get on but will probably just opt for a regular multi vit then. Im not always great at getting my 5 a day so seems like a good idea to have a top up.

Love all the talk about carriers, I already purchased an ex demo calin blue and cant wait to use it, thought it would be better for dog walking :D Really want a Joey too for when she is bigger, debating getting brand new or second hand (tho they dont come up too often!).

Som thanks for asking this :) I take pregnacare at the min cos my diet isnt the best, and I am just going to continue wiht it when I breast feed, I am hoping to BF for6 months I think and sainsburys often have the boxes of 90 for £7 so it shouldnt be much more expense lol

(Although I plan on going back to SW so my diet should be better lol)

OH wants a sling for when we go for walks (and the buggy cant make it) but we havent looked into ones for men?

On the naked front, I am very shy and there is no way I will let mam see me naked lol Ive only just started letting OH in the bathroom with me when I am in the bath lol (pathetic I know) and there is no way I am breastfeeding in front of anyone other than OH (and even then I think I will feel weird)

SAMI lol thats so funny a dog romper lol

Anyone have any tips for me on sleeping please? I dont have any children yet (due today lol) and we go to bed at like 10 and I am tired when we go to bed, but then I wake up very early in the morning! like 2am, 4am and 5am and I cant get back to sleep and start feeling bad that I will wake OH (although he never hears me wake up) so I get up and watch tv and am then wrecked the next day

What can I do to stay asleep???
