    Good Evening all :D

hope you are all well, ((hugs)) to all xx

Have had a productive day of washing and now have a rather large pile of ironing to do !! soooooo not looking forward to starting that !!

Big news in our house .....
Dylan sat up for about half a minute all by himself this afternoon !! We are def getting there :D:D:D

Massive well done to Dylan. Want piccys next time. xx
Ok, I'm with you Harley. My work pay mine at my standard daily rate regardless of how long the day worked is, so I had assumed that was the same for everyone! How's Kezia feeling now? Henry is exhausted as we have had Grandparents here all afternoon! He went straight to sleep when they left!

OMG, OMG, OMG, I am so excited as my in laws have offered to pay for our new kitchen!!! They also want us to get a new cooker which we weren't going to bother with! Who's have known that all I had to do to get financial help from the in-laws was carry their grandson for 42 weeks then spend 44 hours in labour! Still, new kitchen is much more child friendly so I can see why they are so keen for us to do it!

Wow, how lucky are you. On both fronts. Would only do an hour myself if the paid me all day. That's the only reason I'm doing KIT days at all is to make sure I can keep a roof over our heads. Hopefully.

And big fat wow on the kitchen. What lovely inlaws you have. Want to share? Think very carefully about what you want and make sure twice that it is on the plan. The kitchen designer (man) thought he knew better than me and assured me he had allowed space for a towel rail. The idiot didn't and I'm still angry about it 5 years on.

    xxxxx
p.s. Kezia seems much better again tonight, seems to come in waves. getting her meds into her earlier was horrendous, need about 6 pairs of hands just to keep hers out of the way. Thanks for asking. x

    Evening :)

Don't know if any of you saw my post this morning about the luna? Anyway I messaged the lady and offered her £40 for it, She replied and said she couldn't accept that as it had footmuff, raincover, parasol, bag and liner and as I could imagine wasn't cheap and that she was looking for £100. I replied and told her that £100 is out of my budget but thanks anyway. Hopefully if no-one else is interested she might change her mind - but why say open to offers if you have a set amount you want for it??

Aless - I have a mei tai and it's great, but like you say the straps need to be flattened out to be comfortable - especially the ones around your waist.

Well Caitlyn is still not settling at the CMs, so she's suggested that we go for it and start daily sessions to try and crack it :( She said it was up to me, she knows it will seem like I've started back at work early :( I know where she's coming from though. It wouldn't be fair to carry on a couple of times a week and then bam! 4 half days a week. And she also has to look after the other children and can't carry Caitlyn round all the time like she wants.

Hope you're all well, sorry not had much time to catch up lately, DH has been at work yesterday and until 8pm tonight. I have to take him and fetch him at the minute cos his car needs a new exhaust which we're having trouble getting. Typical!

Everyone should come to Warrington Sling Meet! :D:D

Busy week, doing my first Mystery shop tomorrow and taking car to garage, Tuesday is meeting some of you lovely lot and then Friday I will go to sling meet cos last time I forgot to get Fritha to show me something but I can't remember what!

A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Hugs on the childminder front, PP. That must be hard on you, but I'm sure you will crack it and C will love it very soon.

The Luna seller sounds like a right PITA. I think asking for an offer is always silly tbh.

Harley- glad Kezia is feeling better. I'm sure my work will want their pound of flesh from me on my KIT days, I'm under no illusion about that. I know I am lucky with my in-laws, much as I moan about them!

  • pinkpig - is there any way that you can stay with Caitlyn at the CMs for an hour (or even a morning) to help her settle and then leave her for an equivalent amount of time?

HUGS to you hun, it must be tough if baby doesn't seem settled xxx
