Nicki, did the paediatrician not suggest you alter your diet before trying a formula milk? Some women find eradicating cows milk from their diet can help a baby... It takes a couple of days for dairy to clear your system, but might be worth a try?
    Evening all,

I had a lovely hour with the very lovely family Krystal this afternoon :D and I can confirm that she makes a cracking cuppa tea.
You're welcome back any time :D (Dave asked where his mention was lol)

Or, you could let my fairies know where to go and I could send you a big fridge magnet with it all on :D

I have a babyhawk and I do love it... Although Caitlyn was never really keen when she was smaller... I've used it a couple of times now she's a bit bigger and she's definitely more relaxed in it... I should really wear her more often... I shall definitely wear her on the school run tomorrow :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Sami- that would be great but please let my fairies Paypal you something for it as I was gonna buy one anyway.

My fairies have a Mothercare carrier like this if anyone would like one, except mine is navy not denim and it is quite well used!

Nicki, I'm just thinking, we have had Dylans meds doubled and are getting a scan arranged for within the next 3 months to look at his digestive system to see if there is a problem before we are to try anything else.
Have they done an xray or ultrasound or anything ??

(sorry went off for a bath)

yeah, I love my mei tai but I wanna try some different styles - esp an outward-facing front carry (which you cannot do with the mei tai) for summer. Good point about the narrow straps, Fritha - I do find that if I don't specifically flatten them out to their widest, it can get a bit uncomfy.

I've never understood the appeal of ring slings...are they quicker to get on or what? My number one priority is comfort, as my back gets sore very easily, BUT I'd also love one that I can just pop him in for 10 minutes to run to the shop or whatever.

I went to a sling meet, but there were almost too many people there to learn anything IYSWIM. I should give it another chance, but it was a little clique-y and I didn't try any new slings :(. Wish I could come to Warrington!

Beenie - they look faffy, yes, but mei tais are less so than other styles (like moby wraps, which are one long piece of fabric you wrap around about 50 times).

  • SM- just seen new pics of you on FB. You are such a skinny minnie! And Jayden is absolutely gorgeous!

Aless- there is a sling meet in Basingstoke that Feelie told me about and I meant to go to. Would that be too far for you? We could go together, and hopefully a few others would come too for a mini-meet? Basingstoke is about 40 minutes from Clapham, I should know, I used to commute it!
