heya ladies thanks for the advice re vits, will see how we get on but will probably just opt for a regular multi vit then. Im not always great at getting my 5 a day so seems like a good idea to have a top up.

Love all the talk about carriers, I already purchased an ex demo calin blue and cant wait to use it, thought it would be better for dog walking :D Really want a Joey too for when she is bigger, debating getting brand new or second hand (tho they dont come up too often!).

Thanks for the link Tiamai. I do have an electric pump, but its a single, and I also have a manual. I've had a look at the site, and ordered one of the pumping bras on there. I reckon if they work as described, I could double pump with the two pumps I have whilst bottle feeding Edward, though it won't be the easiest thing to do in the world, but its only a week. I suspect if I ordered a twin pump tonight by the time it was actually delivered, the one week trial would be almost up.
Nicki, I'm just thinking, we have had Dylans meds doubled and are getting a scan arranged for within the next 3 months to look at his digestive system to see if there is a problem before we are to try anything else.
Have they done an xray or ultrasound or anything ??

He hasn't had anything invasive done yet, but the paed did say that if things weren't better by next Saturday, that he would want to put a camera down into his tummy to see what was going on.

Krystal, he didn't suggest altering my diet, but I did myself cut out dairy for a couple of weeks when he was a few weeks old as a dietician friend had told me this might be the problem, and it had no impact. In fact he ended up being hospitalised a week later!

I have a calinbleu gauze which is now known as a 'cool cotton', it's tricky to get on without lots of layers, I'm not sure I'll manage it!

I find it easier to wrap her on my back because I lean over so she's balanced and I can use my knees to keep hold of one side while I'm fiddling with the other! The only back wrap I can do (I'm such a good advert for babywearing ) is the rucksack which has only one layer, and that's seriously easy, even I can do it!

I've never understood the appeal of ring slings...are they quicker to get on or what? My number one priority is comfort, as my back gets sore very easily, BUT I'd also love one that I can just pop him in for 10 minutes to run to the shop or whatever.

In theory yes, but you can end up spending as long faffing about getting it tight enough as you could tieing a wrap! Pouches are super quick but you need to get the sizing spot on for it to be comfortable, most vendors are happy to help and/or swap sizes with you if you don't get the right one :-)

Sling meets are fab but you might need to be a bit bold, walk in say "hello I'm Aless this is spoglet, he/she is however many months old and I'm looking to play with some mei tais or wraps, or puches, or, well, what have you got *massive confident beam*" Make yourself known beforehand on the website as well so they know you're soming and what they want from you :-) Alternatively there's a direct train from London to Warrington ;-)

We were told the camera was an option too, let me know how it goes, as I may have to put Dylan through it and would be really interested to hear if you wouldnt mind.
Does he get grumpy when he throws up ?? It doesnt seem to register with Dylan when hes sick, he just thows up and carries on with what he was doing, no crying, no burping before or anything !!

Sorry, i seem to have missed out a chunk earlier. and now I have a screamer.

Sami, thanks for the link, I've saved it and will check it out properly for tomorro.

Krystal, thanks for the offer of the magnet but my fridge is integrated so it wouldn't work. I'll print Sami's link out and stick it inside the cupboard door I think.#

Taking the noisy one to bed now. Sleep well all
