ooh 3 I was thinking of going to the new wallace n gromit thing at the docks once the school hols are finished, if you go there too let me know if it's good!

MIL went to the bug place with her best mate and her 8 (?) year old and he LOVED it

    Hi,
Can anyone help please? Did anyone have any issues with older children just before their babies were born? The reason I am asking is that my 4 year old is very excited about the baby coming next week, but she has started acting a bit out of character. She's normally a bit of a handful - loads of energy, but she's not normally destructive. Monday morning I woke up to find her in the bathroom and she had got nail varnish, mixed with various creams that she found and spread the goo all over the bathroom. When we asked her why she did it, she said because 'no one was looking!'
I'm convinced this behaviour is down to feeling insecure with the baby about to arrive, but I'm not really sure the best way to handle it. We tried to treat it as normal 'naughty' behaviour, because I don't want her to think she can get away with misbehaving, but I really feel for her, and I'm not sure what to do for the best - does anyone have any suggestions?

I've yet to meet a child that hasn't gone through the 'potion' phase! It may not be connected to new bubba

Nope K is 6 months tomorrow. No offence taken just feel like what I asked has been taken out of context a bit.
woaw. I reall misread your signature, or maybe i glanced at someone elses by accident....doh. sorry!! :o

Im not sure what else to suggest; playpen, setting him in the buggy/pram for 2 mins if its handy, by babycage were u referring to a baby walker!? With Katie, I had a massive ring that I was able to put in the living room and put some toys in to keep er interested for a while until i did washing etc.

That is normal 4 year old behaviour and probably nothing to do with the baby.

getting across the cost of replacing these items and that she isn't going to make a maic potion just a mess is important. And anything precious keep out of her reach!

She was just experimenting with textures and squishy play stuff.. it really is quite normal!

Baby cage is a play pen or travel cot. He has a baby walker but he can go it!

If they made a jumbo sized sit me up cosy it'd be fine!

    erm here's a brief overview http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/how-to-conceive-a-girl.html
basically it works on the prinicpal that girl sperms are like long distance runners and boy sperms are sprinters so you need to get jiggy at the right time

When trying to conceive a girl, Shettles recommends that you don’t orgasm during sex as the body produces substances after orgasm that makes the vaginal environment more alkaline, which favors the “boy” sperm.

:rotfl::rotfl:Where's the fun in that! :rotfl::rotfl:

(I conceived V the day after ovulation so she should have been a boy?!?)

Is that over at Spaceport? If so, that's my side of the Mersey.
The space port is ok - we went when there was a Dr.Who exhibition there. Liv liked it, and i'm sure Christopher would

Let me know if you're going. :D

Sami What does Tara's book tell you to do?

Speaking of Tara - has anyone heard from her? Is she still having internet problems?

LOL - I remember picking up on something someone said about you being more likely to have a girl if you don't have an orgasm...so I look at my friends with baby girls and think 'aw, she's cute but my sex was good' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Obvoiusly a massive generalisation - please don't all start telling me how good the sex was to get your girls :D

csh - do you have a bumbo?

Edit - LOL 3, see my memory isn't that bad after all!!!!
