MFD we decided after a little chat that no tv for a week was sufficiant he doesnt really go out to play so grounding him was no good and removing toys was a bit useless as it was his birthday on the monday so had a whole new lot to play with. He was very sorry and has promised he wont do it again so i suppose time will tell :-)

If it was me, I would buy the colour I wanted online, then spend the JL vouchers in Waitrose on groceries. That way you get the buggy at the better price but you're using the vouchers on something practical rather than another splurge, if that makes any sense!

csh- I definitely like the inflatable paddling pool idea best! That way you could either use it with the balls in or without, then in the garden later in the year.

This is about a mile away from me, between my house and gym http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/8606781.stm. I'm so sad for the families of the firemen. My hubby attended it as he was on shift last night- I'm just so, so grateful he came home this morning :o. I can't imagine if he'd gone off to work and never come back.

Beenie- if you're around we love you and miss you!

Nursery was very nice. Lovely big garden and good facilities. Still need to see some more and some child minders though.

r.mac, I think GISI's suggestion is a good one and one that I have used often :). The children receive lots of JL vouchers for Bdays/Xmas/Easter for me to buy throughout the year (usually shoes!) but if Clarks have a sale then I trade them into my purse and off I shop to Waitrose .

GISI, that is so very sad. I saw it on the news early this morning. I feel so sorry for the families. Hugs for you x.

Shellie May is still searching so can you help - Still looking for someone living in either berks, bucks, hillingdon, uxbridge or harrow borough who needs a birthday party. 20-30 guests catered for - you must know someone in that area lol!!! They can be between 4 & 8 - if you know someone - get them to contact me. I can't stretch the area any further.

Oh I love the thoeries on gender selection! So many many variables. For example, some men make more of one gender gametes than the other, ovulation can be early/late, cervical mucus production (decongestants mess with CM), the girls live longer but boys are quicker... and then you get past all that and still conception is completely random! I really do geek-love it! :D

I have no idea how I had 2 boys and a girl, I maintain that the sex was just as good each time :D

Susan, Chris knows he shouldn't chew but seems to have some need to chew. Bought him chew toys but still he will chew more or less anything. He's went through 3 ds chargers! He has even chewed the kitchen door and the bottom of one unit. His bed is all chewed. May have something to do with his speech problems but dunno, he's just weird.

Think I may dig out the boys paddling pool for Miss A-roo later and dump some balls in it.

Thank-you CSH and Pigpen, that's really reassuring to hear, it's just that it felt a bit 'out of the blue'. Hopefully it's just a coincidence, we'll just keep a bit of a close eye on her for a while...

    Think OH is after something.

Tuesday night is Joes Judo night. So OH and I pass each other at 6pm, him in and left with Alex and me out with Joe. Usually get home around 7.30pm. Were Alex has usually screamed the whole time we've been out.

Got home last night, no sign of Alex in his swing, playmat or jumperoo. He was in bed!. Though he would have been put down still clothed but no OH had done bottle, nappy, sleepsuit and bed. Even remembered the night time cardigan and sleeping bag. Was and still am gobsmacked.

Then this morning got a text saying "sorry if I'm miserable in the mornings, can't help it. I don't know how you do what you do!"

So not totally useless and I do what I do, because I am female and he is a mere man. And no I am never satisfied, but nice to be acknowledged for once :D

I live no where near and both of mine have already had their bdays...gutted!! :rotfl:

Good luck with DD. We're not at that stage yet with Poppy but I'm sure it will come.

And good luck with the imminent arrival!! :D
