Katie has a dummy just for sleep, we're planning on sending it to the fairies when she's 4.
I don't think I could have continuted bf without a dummy as she was a very sucky baby and got frustrated when she kept getting milk when she didn't want it.
I think she's feeling a bit better as she's eaten a grape, a tomato, some chicken and some cheesy puffs. She still just wants to sit and cuddle though.Proud to be dealing with my debts

It's an easy tea for us tonight, I've not got anything out to defrost either. So we're on spaghetti and green pesto followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding and custard.Proud to be dealing with my debts

My sis, bro-in-law & 3 nieces came to stay Fri/Sat so that was really good. Think Evie was a bit overwhelmed tho cos she slept loads more than usual in day. Plus me & OH took her to market yesterday for an hour and she cried the whole time. then she looked so relieved when we got in and was all smiles. it was like 'please don't take me out when i've been so looking forward to having mummy & daddy back to myself and staying at home!'
My youngest niece who's 3 started crying at train station cos she didn't want to leave her 'baby cousin and bestest friend Evie'but then she set everyone else of cos it was so sad to watch!
Then we've got my parents & my 2 other nieces coming to stay Weds-Fri. Would normally be cleaning & tidying house but i might just let them do some housework while they're here in return for putting them up & feeding them! :rotfl::j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy0 -

Think for us its gonna be veg soup to start, then pigeon breast (from market yesterday) + pots + veg, then choc fudge cake. hope OH is hungry!!
just read that back and realised how that sounds - it's normally more like chicken chargrills & curly fries, honestly!

Hello everyone - it has been highly productive Chez SS. We now only have one room that is unlivable; the kitchen is now the proud owner of a worktop and some shelves (the worktop was already there but covered in the crap that is now on the new shelves). Maintenance has been done on both washer and dryer, my work trip to Copenhagen is booked and so is the hotel, the computer room is organised and just needs vacuuming and OH and I are cream crackered :rotfl: Dinner will be salad and a sandwich , and after dinner OH will get on with opening his big mountain of post and I am going to vacuum and find something else to do in between entertaining Molly and putting her down to sleep.
Phew!
Has everyone else had a good day? I can't help with windy babies, Molly never seems bothered by anything I've eaten, although she has jars of food with lamb in and they provoke hideous clouds of green gas and nappies that make me literally gag.
Caz, what about egg salad, pasta salad, sliced veg/meat/cheese and homemade rolls and have them make up their own combinations?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

It's Katie's favourites plus lots of fluids at the moment.
But it looks like she is on the road to recovery as the cupboard raiding has started.
I'm so happy as I didn't want to miss Wednesday.Proud to be dealing with my debts
