Jopsey- I was 2.5 weeks overdue with DD, and I found keeping busy the best distraction. Have friends over for lunch, go and meet up for a cuppa, and a soft play type place to entertain LO (bags a table with a stool so you can keep your feet up) Plan things in advance (though might not want to tell LO in case they get disappointed) as I had a weird logic that I was tempting fate by planning to do things and it would 'make' baby be born! What would I know though, think I went over just about as much as you can! :D

Hope things get moving soon, the wait is awful near the end!

Boo - we're meeting at 11am, location to be decided (I think)

Katie's been poorly all weekend, but is on the mend.

Poor Katie, glad to hear she's on the mend though.
boo shes all about the accessories (sp?) so yes she'd love them .. thank you x

No worries, I'll bring them on Wed and if I find anything else I'll pop it in too.

Jopsey, I'd go with cazs plan of organise something important. Guaranteed baba will come exactly when you don't want them to! Have you got a gym ball to be bouncing on or lots of sideways walking up and down the stairs?

    Caz, he'll be 5 on the 19th :D

Jopsey, sorry, never had a full term pregnancy so can't help. I would say just keep as active as you can, put your feet up when you can. What about baking, does your DS like making plain cakes, crispy cakes etc?
  • Jopsey - go supermarket shopping!! Just buy a few bits in each supermarket and make sure you go to the cashier who will ask you when you are due - the look on their faces when you say 10 days ago is pure gold :rotfl::rotfl:

Batch cook lots, you will appreciate it soon enough, watch full films and enjoy every second, read a newspaper cover to cover, scrub the floors and behind the toilets cos you won't see them for a while if you are anything like me xx

Not happy with DH, he's just given Katie a bottle with tea in it - a personal bug bear, they have both been told never again - at least the tea was warm.

It's my fault as I gave her dioralyte in a bottle last night so that she didn't have to sit up to drink it.

the penpals plan is very cute by the way :D

Finn is proper gurgling now and it's soooooooooooo cute.
