10yr old girl with attitude, sporty and far too clever. 6yr old boy who's writing is getting there but not the best so maybe a good idea for him. He loves football, swimming and 'old stuff' (history).
Too many children, too little time!!!

Maybe I'm wrong then... I thought I'd read it on here (not that that's any guarantee it's right either, obviously!)

SS, that chair fabric is awesome. My aunt is a flamingo fanatic and would probably pay you hundred of dollars for it. She has a flamingo CHRISTMAS TREE (I am not kidding, I have seen it), flamingo hats, flamingo CURTAINS in the basement and various other flamingo paraphenalia around their gigantic house. She's looney :rotfl:

I think we sterilised Finn's dummy when we first bought it and never since, oops...:o I also only sterilise my pump every few days, but it gets hot soapy washes in between. Not sure why I bother as he won't take the damn bottles anyways, grrrrrrr.

    Hola!
Elle my HV said after 6mths just sterilise things that milk will me stored in and do dummies once a week-ish that's what I followed as it made sense to me :)
I washed Chris's bottles in the dish washer past 1yr and made is bottle fresh (half formula half moo milk)

My MIL still has a penpal her mum and ppal's mum were ppals originally, since I left work I only really right shopping lists, my bad handwriting is now abysmal!

Som - Ed is quite sensitive to what I eat, I find the worst offenders are onion, grapes, orange juice, any juice that is from concentrate and takeaways particularly kfc

Aless, OH's mum was the same way and we have various bits of flamingo stuff about the place. I am not a fan but don't want to get rid of it either IYSWIM.

When do you stop sterilising bottles? I know "they" say you should have them off them by a year [not a dig at all, MDW, you just reminded me! :)] but if they still have them after that, do you have to sterilise them until they use them no more or just wash in hot soapy water after a year? *confused*

i stopped sterilising Christophers about 2-3 weeks ago and he was 8 months today. omg.

I think you can stop sterilising everything at 6mths. Not overly sure but by then their shoving any old !!!!!! into their mouths so seems pointless to sterilise
I agree. Christopher particularly seemed rather fond of Katie's dirty wellies today......
I can't believe that you are still sterilising his eating stuff!!! I gave you a week!!! I do dummies every so often but that is it other than bottles.
here here. I did it for Katie for approximately a week....I knew better with Christopher; they get washed in the dishwasher.
That doesnt make me a scummy mummy, does it!? :o

Hi! I dont have the pateience to read back, bar the past couple pages. I tink the penpal idea is great; Katie a little bit too young just yet though. I used to have a penpal when i was younger and really enjoyed it. Still have the letters somewhere....

Has everyone had a lovely easter!? Has everyone been eating too much chocolate!? I knwo i have. Sod SW for this week. lol :o

Whats happeneing tonight!? Im a bit bored; invited my sisters & in-laws over, and 2 sets of friends, and no1 wants us. so now im banished to the lappy while Robbie plays his ps3! fun. :(

tis correct 'they' reckon you should introduce a cup at 6mths therefore should be off bottles by 12mths. Its to do with teeth IIRC
Chris had his last bottle of milk at 2yrs 3mths, the way I see it is it's no different from a BF baby still having at BF before bed
