I feel for you. Mine is much better but still not right. A wheat bag helped a little if you have one?

I don't have one, but did think of it at 3am - went in for a shower instead and the hot water loosened it off a bit, enough to eventually go to sleep along with some Diclofenac left over from post birth pain! It's the shoulder blade rather than my actual shoulder. It's amazing how it is connected to everything though. It's difficult to even get into a lying down position because I can't put any pressure at all on my arm and use my hand. It doesn't seem as bad today but I know it will stiffen up later.
I am not sure what Bubble Island is, but I really should stay well clear. Bejewelled and Farmville were enough and I can't afford the time for addictions these days!0 -
Som there are lot's of things that can give them wind/ make them fretful, and unfortunately it's a case of trial and error- I never cracked it with DD she was windy and sicky the whole way but we managed without medicine for it in the end, as I did baby massage on her and literally winded her for hours at a time so she was never in pain with it! Eeeek! She hated lying down though so I just held her upright and she wasn't in pain, when she was sleeping I would wind her for ages before she went down and she would be fine.
Kellymom website has a good section about things you can try cutting out from memory it was onion, garlic, cabbage, pulses etc- basically things that may give you wind too iyswim!

Som, the one time Amber was like that it was either the fruit smoothie I had at lunch or the whole raw onion at dinner (were having fajitas and nobody else ate it so I did). Try and think what you ate that was unusual, but sometimes they just get wind.0

Susan I seem to type official letters, but hand write letters or cards to family/friends.
I was thinking last week about pen pals. You never hear of children having them anymore - but if they did they'd be more likely to be email pals!
The boys have had penpals organised though school. They have been writing to some children in Co Clare, Ireland and a group came over here before the Easter hols. Some of the children in our school are going over there in June. James isn't as it was too expensive and it's the day after we come back
I try and get the boys to write letters to say thank you for birthday and Christmas gifts but they don't like doing it. They prefer phoning people to say thanks or sending thank you emails instead.
Been to Craig's grandparents this morning and she's bought me an Easter Egg as well. I've not been bought an Easter Egg for years, so I'm chuffed to bits
Here I go again on my own....0 -

Afternoon,
I've had Katie at the Out of Hours GP this morning as she was burning up, still very drowsy and saying light hurt her eyes.
They couldn't find anything but just to keep her fluid levels up and dose her with Calpol every 4 hours. Feed her if she wants food. I'm also need to take a wee sample to our docs in the morning to check for a UTI.
She did have a burst of energy before and has eaten a little bit but she's flopped again now, she is due her next dose of calpol.
Grrrrrrrr at cross OH in the night, mine used to wake up just to make sure I didn't fall asleep whilst I was feeding her.

Aimee's homework is her stage words (think there's about 15 of them at the level she's on) 2 reading books during the week and on a Friday she gets given 2 worksheets that are due in on the Wednesday of the following week, although I try to get them done for a Monday morning because there never seems to be enough time during the week nights...money_maker wrote: »ooohhhh YEAH Aimee
Jasmines homework is 10 spellings and sums a week and a book every 2 nights ... nothing else at all !! They have specified computer time in class, but all their written work is written.
I'm crafty too, so maybe that is it !! Although I gave up on my cards ... no one appreciated the time that went into them and I gave up caring !! Just do my scrapbooking now
The kids will probably hate me for it when they are older, as I scrapbook EVERYTHING !!!
I haven't done any scrapbooking yet... I struggle finding the time... I got a sewing machine for christmas and haven't actually done anything with it yet...
My husband let me lie in until 12 today! Have a wicked headache now though lol... He's gone off to town now and left me with the baby... I wish he'd taken her with him though, she keeps shrieking... And I really need to do some cleaning... Hey ho...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
