    Morning people,

Kindof – sorry your OH is being less than helpful. I am so glad however that at least you realise that babies do cry! It stresses me when I hear people complaining about newborns not sleeping for 12 hours straight and crying – they are babies! Things will get better though. When Holly was born, we agreed that as DH was working and up early, I would do any night time feeds/wakenings, but he would stay up later to do the last feed, and try to do the morning one if he had time before work. Luckily we never had to put it into practice as Holly never really had a night feed – she just always slept through (although we used to just take her to bed when we were going, so much later than the 7pm bedtimes that some people do!)

Holly went into her own room on Friday night. She never used to wake in the night, but sometimes screams a bit in her sleep when trying to pass wind. It was easy when she was in the crib beside me as I could just pop her dummy in or lay my hand on her for comfort and she stopped without waking up and I didn’t really have a disturbed sleep. Now, however, I am having to get up and was up 3 times last night to find her awake!! She wasn’t crying or screaming, just moaning a bit and babbling (she has not stopped talking since her teeth came in!). I was straight back to bed within minutes each time, but I am so not used to it! Although I confess that at 6am she was wide awake, so I took her into the spare room and we both went to sleep for an extra 2 hours.

I have boogered my shoulder as DH brought H into bed with us on Thursday night and so I was perched on the edge of the bed all night and I have been in total agony. Spent 3 hours in tears during the night on Saturday with the pain. It seems to have eased off slightly but it’s not great.

:rotfl:Hmm, the language differences might make for some confusion!

I have a RL friend who had a Romanian penpal from being a child. They still write, and have visited each other. I think it's really sweet.

    morning all! :D
had a lovely day yesterday. PIL came down and we all went to Heaton Park, they offered to take just Kian, but we all went as i knew if we stayed behind DH would most probably wanted to go to the pub. K hadnt had much sleep and was due a nap, so he fell asleep shortly after we got there so totally missed all the animals, the ducks etc and never got a go on the swings as he only woke up as we were finishing our coffee. (after 2 hours of walking around)

had a nice tea-pork chops, wedges and apple sauce nom nom..then after K had gone to bed we played mario cart for bout 2 hours.

just watching the Dorothy results show now as i had a nap last night when it was on and DH recorded it for me.

miserable day here. wanted to go for a nice walk but looks out of the question now. will see if it clears up later.

It's a rainy day here, but it's nice in a way, smells all summer showery, I opened the back door to let some of the fresh air in :D Think it will have to be a cleaning day here today, Chris is very tired after all the walking and playing and running and kicking a ball yesterday. Off to put the first load of washing in the TD.

Sorta, money for summer holiday day trips, spending money for holiday, road tax in June £70, road tax in July £125 and car insurance July £700.

You reminded me I had a bad dream last night where I got a bill for £99 for jewellery I bought and had to take money out of the savings account and I was devastated! :rotfl:
