    Morning

Watched a flm last night and K woke up about 15 million times while we were watching it! Thankfully by the time we went to bed he was sound asleep, but I went to bed far to late 1.30am and at 6.45 he was screaming again? He is currently sat in his highchair refusing to eat his cereal and is instead tipping it out the bowl and squashing it into the tray....I will win, cos he will stay there until he has actually eaten some, squashed or not;) I am absolutely shattered and really can't wait for dh to get up so I can go back to bed.

((hugs)) kindof, sounds like many nights(and days) we have had in this house especially back when ds1 and then 2 were babies. Dh seems to be much more tolerant of ds3 and i'm sure he will be of baby 4 too, but I know he is an absolute !!!! at night so I have always done the nght feeds..saves arguments, actually I always end up doing most things for a quiet life....

Grrrr the kids are driving me mad, chocolate will be banished to the cupboard if they keep up like this!

Becles - Sounds like you had a nice day, how fantastic of your dad to be the first to get a degree too....I wonder if that has made a difference to the fact that you and your brother have also both pursued a degree? How absolutely wonderful of him to look out his gown for you to wear, like you say, so much more special than just hiring/buying
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Hugs kindof - it sounds like E is doing well and your OH has still to adjust to the effects of never getting a full night's sleep.

I'm glad it went well Becles, and that's lovely about your gown and hood. I hired mine and it was blatantly made for a very short prop forward - I had to pin it to my shoulders and the inside edges were almost at my shoulder seams :rotfl:

I'm thinking of buying a Wii and Wii Fit board thingy. Are they good, and is £130 a good price for both (on eBay)?

    Thats a really good price

When I bought mine (I bought them as they were released so full price) the wii was £179.99 and the wii fit was £80

I watch a tv show called The Biggest Loser and I bought the wii game, well I got it for christmas, and I am planning on starting on when I go to Slimming World after my six week check up but it got really good reviews on the net.

Aless - I love cider lol and I'm not a chav :) LOVE Bulmers Apple

SJ I know, thats what I thought too! he only woke twice in the middle of the night which is totally amazing, Ive no idea what his problem was last night, he is still in bed so we shall see what he says when he wakes up, I am not sure if he expects me to do all the night feeds, probably, which I might be ok doing, but come weekends I might make him do them all lol

Red - I can see that being me as well, otherwise when he does feed E in the night, he sits on my side of the bed, more often than not nearly sitting on me! and I can never sleep through when he is feeding E so I may as well do it myself! grr lol

Well not much is going to get done today, my friend from work is coming over to see E, and then we are off to in laws for a photo shoot lol, they want to take photos of us all four generations of us, not really looking forward to that at all, I hate my photo taken, they could at least have given me a chance to get my pregnancy weight off and get my hair done etc *sigh*

Then he got E to sleep but he woke up again at 7am, didnt want his dummy or food, and OH shouts from the bed "for !!!!s sake beany shut up" and I got so !!!!ed off (protective of E) that I stormed out of the room with E and his moses basket shouting at OH then slammed the door

It happens to the best of us...we all lose our cool at one moment or another. DH can sometimes be a great gem at night but other times he's an absolute ogre. Some days I'm full of patience when Finn is whingy & fussy, but other days I just want to shout at him and cry when he refuses to nap :o.

Becles, that's so lovely that your dad wanted to share his graduation robes with you!

GAH. Have just realised that I wanted to take a shower, but the laundry just got put on. D'oh! Guess I'll just be stinky for a little while longer. :p

It certainly does! I had a major meltdown yesterday when H wouldn't stop screaming and I broke the tumble dryer door! It was just all too much for me and I had to lie down for half an hour and cry it out. I think sometimes it just breaks you. I was fine straight afterwards, and it didn't mean I loved H any less or would have done anything that might have hurt him. I was just frustrated.

FWIW H is nearly five months and OH has only done one night feed. He will get up with LO in the morning though so I can have an extra hour in bed which does make a huge difference.

Becles- glad you had a good day and that is lovely that your Dad wants you to wear his gown.

Just nomming my SW cooked breakfast of beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and one sllice of toast. It is most yummy and will hopefully keep me full up.

    Hello.
MM you write letters, that's just fab! I would love it if someone wrote me a letter.
Do most people not write letters?

He still has his graduation gown and hood from his studies at the Open Uni before I was born. He said he is going to look it out for me because I want to wear it when I graduate. My Grandma (his Mam) bought it for him and insisted he had to keep it as he was the first person in the family to get a degree and she was so proud - everyone knew about it :D Be nice wearing something with history rather than just hiring one.
That is so lovely. (We need a "warm fuzzy feeling" smiley.)

    Morning all..

    *hugs* all round :(

Was very thankful to be able to sleep just the two of us in our bed last night. We didn't even bother putting the travel cot up while we were away cos we knew what would happen  Anyway, Rhys lasted until 8.50am in his cot and now he's in bed (playing not sleeping) with OH. I think he actually only woke up because he'd turned himself round and was kicking the bars - he wasn't crying, just moaning everytime he struck the bar :o

No idea what's happening here today. See how OH feels when he gets up - probably achey after all the driving and walking he did. Weather's rubbish anyway :( Might go into town and have a look for work stuff... KIT day in two days! Best check my trousers still fit... after another Easter egg, maybe :o

Aless - have that issue with washing and showering too it's a real pita!

Kindof - poor you that would earn my OH a clout round the head if he said that to T. Though I can understand the fustration, as am bf I'm totally on my own so it's hard and I do loose patience but I just shout in general and not at her, I know they wouldn't understand but certainly wouldn't swear (altho I do usually), just fell it's a bad habit I don't want to get into around her. My OH is really fab when he's awake he cooks, does the house work, makes me drinks and of course helps as much as he can with T. But once he's in bed it's a nightmare! He is so hard to wake so doesn't hear her cry so altho he can't feed her he doesn't even get up if she needs winding or just a cuddle. I suppose that's men for you tho they just don't have our instincts! Oh and am so looking forward to getting back on my wii fit too :D

Well have had a busy Easter, visitors wanting cuddles and bringing pressies for Tahlie mainly so today we have to ourselves. Have read back other than this page so apologies if i missed anything important. Right off to boot OH out of bed he said he was up earlier but I can hear him snoring from downstairs so he blatently isn't grrr!

I love chicken pie and I always do this recipe more or less, with chicken instead of turkey. It's gorgeous!
both enjoy Erin as much :)

Thank you SJ Thats looks yum.

Susan I seem to type official letters, but hand write letters or cards to family/friends.
I was thinking last week about pen pals. You never hear of children having them anymore - but if they did they'd be more likely to be email pals! :(

A quiet day for us today, pie making :D and ironing I think.
