    Morning all :D

I badly need to get a blackout blind for Dylans room ... bloody 5.45 my monster started talking to himself !! Brought him into my room at the back of the house and he went back to sleep till 7.30 so that was much better !!

I had planned a morning of tidying and cleaning, however Jas has started a huge jigsaw in the middle of the hall floor and Dylan is a tad hyper !! He is now fighting his sleep and Chris is still in bed, so all I have got done is 1 load of washing on and loaded the dishwasher ... oh well ...

Am off to MILs for lunch later and then might head to the harbour for a walk later if it clears up a bit

    Hope everyone is well :D

ETA - pen pal idea is fab !! 7 year old girl with a very independant personality that will probably not let me help write the letter !!
The two best things I have done with my life
    :TDD 5/11/02 :j DS 17/6/09 :T
STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!

Sorta, money for summer holiday day trips, spending money for holiday, road tax in June £70, road tax in July £125 and car insurance July £700.

You reminded me I had a bad dream last night where I got a bill for £99 for jewellery I bought and had to take money out of the savings account and I was devastated! :rotfl:

Ah right, was only being nosey really:p I really need to get saving as we badly want to take the kids to Disney paris. You have done well so far though:D

SS – I meant to say, don’t listen to anyone criticising your parenting skills, or your relationship. You do what works for you, and if you want to moan on here, feel free – everyone else does!! I am quite relaxed about most things, but I wouldn’t deliberately put danger in the way of a young baby who doesn’t know any better and is too young to understand the word “no” and learn a lesson the hard way.

Susan – I think the “art of letter writing” is dead. Most people tend to phone or e-mail these days, or type an important letter. I had a pen pal when I was at primary school, but we lost touch. I am sure there is another thread somewhere on MSE about pen pals.

It’s a miserable day here too so we are going to the museum/art galleries this afternoon just for something to do. Then dinner at my parents.

    Hi everyone! :)

Haven't caught up as i haven't been on in the past 2 days. And im not going to attempt it! lol.

Did everyone have a good day yesterday? I didn't get anything for easter. Not even a creme egg... :(

I'll buy one for myself today.

    Lily got loads though! *jealous*
My Dad gave her £30, IL's gave her £10 and an egg with a plate/egg cup/spoon and toast imprinter thing. My sister got her a tigger door bouncer, play gym and a giant winnie the pooh. And my mum wants to get her something but doesn't know what. Neither do i though!

I bought her a disney hoodie and a swimsuit from ebay :D:D

Kindof - ((hugs)) I shouted at OH last night to, he was telling L off for crying. He thinks she does it on purpose. Like she has a master plan to only cry when he has work to keep him up all night!
Im like "She's a baby, she's crying because she's lonely and wants a cuddle! She's not a calculating evil genious!"

He asked if i had a lay in this morning. Well i woke at 8:30am which is good. But i was awake for an hour each time i fed her during the night, so it doesn't really make a difference.
He only has to wind her for 10 mins!

Sorry i got into a bit of a rant there. OH's are poo :p:rotfl:

I felt bad last night, i put Lily in a newborn sleepsuit i bought and i wanted her to ear it at least once! It was upto 11lbs and 56cm, and she's 10lbs and 54cm. But the arms were really short. So all night she had freezing cold arms but i didn't ant to change her during the night as she hates being changed.
She's in a 0-3m suit now with some scratch mitts to keep her hands warm :D
But she did look cute in the newborn sleepsuit...:p:o

I think Lily has done her first smile. I have it on video. But damn fb wont let me upload it. (something about the format not being a video file..)
Its a proper open mouth wide smile, sooo cute :D

Thanks Fitz - I do love my OH really ;)

Busy day today chasing all your bubble island high scores and waiting for the video we made of Molly to finish rendering. I used to work on documentaries and it puts a lot of pressure on OH because he always wants to make the videos look better than just the clips. I'm happy with clips but he prefers to actually use the editing suite rather than a simple cut, bless him :)

Laundry was going in but will have to wait till after lunch because we need all the dishes done so all the counter space is clear so we can empty the cupboard under the sink and watch the washing machine drain because it seems to be leaking.

And Mistress Molly went into her crib for a nap no trouble - it seems only nighttime is the problem. Hmmm.

I have boogered my shoulder as DH brought H into bed with us on Thursday night and so I was perched on the edge of the bed all night and I have been in total agony. Spent 3 hours in tears during the night on Saturday with the pain. It seems to have eased off slightly but it’s not great.

I feel for you. Mine is much better but still not right. A wheat bag helped a little if you have one?

No real plans here. Benjamin is in bed and hubby is in the bath so I have some me time for an hour or so (baby will wake early now I have said that!). Hubby says he is taking us for lunch but he doesn't know where, a bit of washing, maybe some ironing later, fun fun fun in MFD towers :D

I have a 10 year old boy who would take a week to write a letter if left to his own devices!!
