Hope all the sickie people feel better soon... And I know how you feel, last week when I was throwing up I was still dealing with 2 sick children and a household... A sick husband always takes to bed incapable!!
Talking about egg hunts... We've got some hello kitty eggs for Aimee to have a hunt with, and topped them up with some creme eggs seeing as my cousins will more than likely accompany her home... We usually just hide them around the place and she runs round looking for them (then spends the next week re-hiding them lol) I said to hubby we should make it a proper treasure hunt with clues and everything this year... He asked how we could print the clues off seeing as there's no black in the printer... I think it's been that long since he picked up an actual pen, the art is lost!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hello, been a long day for me, last night OH got up to go the the toilet and fainted in the bathroom
He was ok and came round straight away but it was a bit of a shock, later my sis told me I should have taken his pulse but I never thought of it, she also said grown men don't faint which has left me a bit worried. He'd been feeling tired all day and sickly but not actually being sick, he's hoping to go to work tomorrow (double pay and all that) but we'll see. So all my plans of spring cleaning and gardening were replaced with looking after him and Erin all day.
It's made me think about our relationship and how much I need him, recently we have been getting at each other a bit, I get annoyed by how he only half completes jobs which I then have to finish but at least he is trying and actually I'm quite capable of doing more around the flat even with Erin in tow. He is obviously feeling more strain than me because he said the other day 'we just have to get through the next two years' in relation to bringing up Erin which I was shocked about because I love spending time with Erin as she is now but he made it sound a chore. So I think I need to do more and I should probably start by going to bed now instead of being on here! Sorry for the long post, just wanted to write it down to get it clear in my head.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Wow Jenny, that must have been scary!! Hope he feels better soon...
MM, I'm the same, but I think it's down to being crafty... Making my own cards and things... I would just automatically do it by hand... He's a gadget freak... Handwriting is so 20th centuary!
Actually, my sister was round today... She teaches year 1 and she told me that at her school, all homework is computer based, even the KS1 pupils... I don't know if it's just me, but I thought that was a bit much for such young children... Surely they should be encouraged to write by hand?!
(Oh she also told me that the score Aimee got in her literacy testing last week means she is classed as 'Gifted and Talented'... Proud much?!?!:D:D)

Well done Aimee :jEveryone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070

ooohhhh YEAH Aimee
Jasmines homework is 10 spellings and sums a week and a book every 2 nights ... nothing else at all !! They have specified computer time in class, but all their written work is written.
I'm crafty too, so maybe that is it !! Although I gave up on my cards ... no one appreciated the time that went into them and I gave up caring !! Just do my scrapbooking nowThe kids will probably hate me for it when they are older, as I scrapbook EVERYTHING !!!

We had an Aldi three bird roast (ew-er mrs! Snigger) for lunch. It was very nice, but i'm unsure about the marmalade glaze it came with. I've got loads left over and was thinking about a pie tomorrow. When you have chicken pie, it seems to be more of a white sauce than a gravy?!? Any recipies welcome.
I was eyeing up that roast on the ads all week but didn't get it as there's only 2 of us!
I love chicken pie and I always do this recipe more or less, with chicken instead of turkey. It's gorgeous! :drool:My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »I wanted someone who could beat me at scrabble, shout as loud as I did at question time and who screwed like it was the last time every timeKrystaltips wrote: »(Oh she also told me that the score Aimee got in her literacy testing last week means she is classed as 'Gifted and Talented'... Jennynoo that is scary, hope it's nothing serious and he's well again soon. Hope you can manage to take on more at home too if it means you can both enjoy Erin as much
MM you write letters, that's just fab! I would love it if someone wrote me a letter.
How are all the poorly babies, kids, mummies and OHs today? Seems to be a lot going round at the moment. Hopefully the weather will brighten up a bit soon and that will help I'm sure. It's grey, drizzly and miserable here today.0
