I'm Aimee free... She went to stay with my Aunt on Friday night and told me on the phone last night that she wasn't coming back until next Sunday!! I'm guessing it will be a bit sooner... Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday... It's strangely quiet here without her!!
Oh, and Hubby took Caitlyn to bed all on his own tonight!! She was knackered so she settled pretty quickly thankfully... It's a good start and a boost to his confidence though!!
I'm on the side of the [STRIKE]slack[/STRIKE] relaxed parents... I'm teaching Caitlyn to climb down from the settee backwards as opposed to throwing herself off headfirst... It's a work in progress
Well done Mr Krystal. Izzy (almost) always gets down from things backwards - one of the first words she understood was "careful" - I think she worked out that whenever she heard it she was about to hurt herself! No progress on stairs though - we live in a flat, and my parents are in a bungalow, so I let her have a go on the stairs whenever we are at the inlaws. Because I grew up in a bungalow I am still a bit wary of stairs now, and I don't want her to be too! (And I also don't want her to not know how to go up/down safely)... she is quite good at climbing them, but i've not been brave enough to let her get down again. Maybe that is a job for tomorrow.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Ladybird, are there no public stairs around your flat? I was really excited at the prospect of teaching Molly to use stairs because we're four flights up so there'll be less up-and-down when it comes time, just up-up-up-up and then down-down-down-down, which seems like it'll be much easier on my knees
I want to redress the balance and tell you about a lovely thing OH did, aside from marathon kitchen organising and making brunch and dinner today: I idly wondered a little while ago whatever happened to the band Soul Asylum. And he went off and found out and reported back for me. It's the small things, you know?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Sings... <Run away train never coming back... Wrong way on a one way track... Seems like I should be getting somewhere... Somehow it's neither here nor there...>
My Hubby just did a whole research project on the McGann brothers since I told him Joe was clearly better than Paul... At least... When you're 11 anyway...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'd have gone ballistic about the bag of tacks FWIW! Seth does "drink" out of our mugs and glasses if they're left empty on the table and he gets to them before we move them, but we dont really make a big deal of that. The main concern in our house is electric cables, as by our sofa theres a 4-way extension thing and I worry he will eat the laptop cable. Its always turned off at the wall though! But we made a big deal of that and tried to stop him going for the cables, and now he goes right to them at every opportunity cos he loves the attention, even if it is a big fat NO!
He did understand "no" last week, but this week chooses to shout "YEAH" back at me and carries on anyway... oh dear!Mummy to

RIP LITTLE MOUSE....
LOL, first thing to hand? I regularly kill beetles with Idris' boxers if they are the first thing to hand in the kitchen. Cover the beetle with said underpants and STOMP STOMP STOMP.
Em - That sounds well funny. Seth sounds really cheeky. Lovely0
