MM, I'm the same, but I think it's down to being crafty... Making my own cards and things... I would just automatically do it by hand... He's a gadget freak... Handwriting is so 20th centuary!

Actually, my sister was round today... She teaches year 1 and she told me that at her school, all homework is computer based, even the KS1 pupils... I don't know if it's just me, but I thought that was a bit much for such young children... Surely they should be encouraged to write by hand?!

(Oh she also told me that the score Aimee got in her literacy testing last week means she is classed as 'Gifted and Talented'... Proud much?!?! :D:D)

Jasmines homework is 10 spellings and sums a week and a book every 2 nights ... nothing else at all !! They have specified computer time in class, but all their written work is written.

I'm crafty too, so maybe that is it !! Although I gave up on my cards ... no one appreciated the time that went into them and I gave up caring !! Just do my scrapbooking now The kids will probably hate me for it when they are older, as I scrapbook EVERYTHING !!!

I love chicken pie and I always do this recipe more or less, with chicken instead of turkey. It's gorgeous! :drool:

Jennynoo that is scary, hope it's nothing serious and he's well again soon. Hope you can manage to take on more at home too if it means you can both enjoy Erin as much

MM you write letters, that's just fab! I would love it if someone wrote me a letter.

How are all the poorly babies, kids, mummies and OHs today? Seems to be a lot going round at the moment. Hopefully the weather will brighten up a bit soon and that will help I'm sure. It's grey, drizzly and miserable here today.

Morning! Must've been the full-on day yesterday, but we had a lovely night's sleep with a well-behaved little boy that only woke up when he was supposed to :j .

Jenny, hugs for you & your DH. I hope he's feeling better this morning - that must've been scary! I've never met him, but I imagine him as big strong manly policeman type (LOL), so even scarier that he's doing things like fainting. Maybe he's not so much tired from Erin as is just feeling the strain on his patience or something similar? Maybe once she gets a wee bit older and he feels like he can play & interact with her more, it'll be easier. Hope to see you all next Sunday anyway!

Why is weather looking so crap? I seriously hope these dreary grey clouds burn off.

Glad you and Finn had a good night! Mine was pretty good too apart from waking up slightly earlier than I'd like but I suppose 6am isn't too bad.

I've been good though, I've had breakfast, fed A, put him down for a nap (he went 30 mins) and got a load of washing on, washed up and am about to start my baking for the day. Got 4 dozen cupcakes to make, split over 3 orders, and will be nice to get them finished this morning if possible then I can chill out beofre we go to Mum & Dad's for dinner (roast lamb :drool: )
