Evening all, i've spent the whole afternoon under Katie, she's slept most of the day and eaten nothing.

She had a couple of peas off my plate which didn't stay down, but calpol and bm have, so Katie has had a second shower and I'm on my third set of clothes.

She's sat on DH whilst I have a break.

We're not putting her to bed tonight she'll just stay with us until we go to bed.

We have no plans for tomorrow, I need to see how Katie is first. I'm hoping she'll be well enough to go out for a walk in the buggy (weather permitting)

Katie loves sitting on the work top to help me cook, she's too heavy to hold.

MDW poor Katie (and you!) My only change of clothes today has been from a big wee after she got out of the bath. I even had to change my pants ... not what I needed, but a great improvement on earlier in the week.

  • MDW I hope Katie gets better soon. It's awful when they are poorly isn't it.

We just had treacle sponge and custard - I had forgotten I had it in the cupboard and fancied something sweet. We always struggle to eat in the evening after a Sunday lunch.

I haven't used my wii fit since Benjamin was tiny - holding him whilst I did step aerobics used to make him sleep!

Anyone who writes a diary / journal / baby book for their kids - do you write 'you did this' or 's/he did this' or 'name did this'? I am struggling to find a voice/tense to write Benjamin's life story in.

Thanks chopsticks - that was super kind of you :A

Edit: MFD, I write it to Molly, but mine's more a diary than a formal book.

We just have to do Easter once she's better.

The one advantage of being stuck is that DH cooked tea which was yummy, roast chicken, garlic potatoes and peas. I've just remembered we've got a sticky toffee pudding in the fridge, but I'm going to save it for when Katie is better.

MFD, not sure if this helps but I've been keeping tagged entries in my own blog (but I do want to keep them to print off one day for him) and use the 3rd person...

I forgot to say...we were talking about boiled eggs the other day. In the USA, chocolate eggs aren't really a "thing". More common is decorate boiled eggs and eat them. When I was 4, I got food poisoning and had to stay in hospital for a week from bad eggs! Still ate them every year after that and I miss doing decorated eggs now.

In our baskets we get chocolate bunnies and plastic (colored) eggs filled with candy :D.

    Sorry as you were.

MDW, I hope Katie feels better :o
