Men are so helpful. Hubby was having a go at me last night :mad: because I was stressing about the severe pain I was experiencing and stress is not good for the baby, so he wanted me to calm down. Hello? Pain not good for mother!
PS Pain was not baby related. Pregnancy related for sure, but nothing to do with erm... 'those bits'. Grrr.

Is everyone you know pregnant? I really don't know that many people, yet I am now aware of five ladies who have just got pregnant, like me! T'was a good Xmas!!

hi all, just to let ye know i had another scan today, dating scan through NHS, all is well and i have another picture of my baby and we are soo happy!! im trying to relax a bit more now!
(she says, madly cleaning ready for house vaulation tomoro morning!)

Great to hear it emma_b, I'm glad you can finally start to enjoy it now. Good luck with the house!

We had our 20wk scan yesterday which was lovely but a bit worrying as the ultrasonographer couldn't visualise parts of the heart properly. The chambers and aorta appear fine but the pulmonary vessels weren't clear. She's asked us to return in 3 weeks because unless she can see them clearly she obviously can't confirm that everything's OK. I also appear to have spectacularly high blood pressure already, although I'm sure a lot of that is white coat syndrome.

On a brighter note, I have felt baby moving this week - from little wriggles on Monday to a proper kick this afternoon. It's discovered that it's fun to tapdance on my bladder, which is a bit uncomfortable ... ... but lovely.
