hi justie its possible u can feel it move im 17 weeks and have felt mine move for over a month,when i mentioned this to midwife she said when people have had a few children sometimes they can tell when its moving early on,mines been poking my side when ive been sat with my legs honched up on the computer chair lol

I am so fed up of being pregnant now. I'm 20 weeks and still getting at least weekly episodes of sickness, even while I'm on anti-sickness tablets. I'm off work with a really low mood and my hips are still giving me grief. As much as I want a baby I wish there was an easier way of getting one.

thanks - it's my first so I wasn't expecting to feel anything yet but twice now in the early hours of the morning I've felt a little flutter that isn't anything I've ever felt brfore - I swear this morning s/he was objecting to the fact that the pillow was poking into my belly :rotfl:

You could also find out from your local council's CIS (Children's Information Service); I got a booklet called Quids for Kids from mine.

I totally sympathise with you, took me ages to understand all the detail, but that's also because my company's HR dep't wasn't much help.

Hi all,
Am I alone in loving being pregnant? Every pregnant women I've met seem to have lots to say about the various aches and pains - and I have them and the odd bad days too.

But I'm really enjoying having buggy inside of me; keeping me company, calming down when I rub him or talk to him. I loved how my husband responded at the first scan, feeling my first kicks in the middle of a shoulder stand, bubby kicking along to uncle's guitar-playing:rotfl: ...and the whole idea that I'm keeping him safe and warm in my tummy whatever I do.

I'm 34 weeks now (so 6 weeks to go:eek:), and I'm really going to miss this closeness to him...especially when he'll be screaming his lil' head off in the early days...and grow up to be a smelly spotty teenager!;) Saying that, I can't wait to meet my little angel! :T

What a dilemma!

I'd love to hear how you all feel - has pregnancy just been a complete pain, and what are the positives for you?

In the meantime, for those of you who are having a hard time through your pregnancy, I hope you can see some good things about it too, and all the good things to follow (baby's first smile, first laugh, etc.), and hope you feel better soon.

Hi all

Thought I'd quickly pop in and say hi. I'll take a proper look through the thread later when I'm at home...

Hope everythin's going well for everyone. I missed my midwife appointment this morning... oops and my only real gripe so far is that at 16 weeks my Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction is already creeping in. This is going to be baby 2 and I had it with DS 1 so I know just what to look forward too...
