    I still don't get it, as all you've done is to reboot your router. Which would have happened anyway when you plugged it back in after taking it to the shop.

    i DID remove all the plugs which are connected to my computer

    In that case I suspect an intermittent fault either with your ethernet cable, or one of the connectors on PC or router.
