Please don't blame me for the board being called Silver Savers! Trouble is, thinking of an alternative - geriatric geezers probably wouldn't be any more popular! And, as we can see from this discussion we're not sure how old we all are anyway! :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0

Nooooo! I'm not at all!
Maybe a thread asking for suitable suggestions for a new name? It's tricky isn't it?!0 -

Responses to this thread suggest very few of us are mature:j
And no I can't do this :j but I never could when I was younger either.0 -
Hmm! 'Interesting' suggestions !!

Maybe just removing the silly "Silver Savers" bit and leaving it as
"Over-50's Money Saving" would be to-the-point, objective, inoffensive and non-judgemental.
Although I suppose all the other age groups could start clamouring for their own 'special' boards too!0 -
Why "Silver" Savers, anyway. I cringe at that! Very old-fashioned term for today's over-fifties, if it means what I think it's supposed to! Maybe there's a point behind it I'm missing?
Leave the title alone before it's changed to elderly and ancient savers!:D
