Does anyone know if you can tell them to update your existing contract with x amount of months left to the new contract?
Like i'm paying for the £30 x 18 months with a few months left. Can i tell them to give me 300 mins, unlimited texts and web bolt on.
Instead of what i get now which is: 400 mins, 1000 texts?0 -

No, you have to run the course of your contract until you can upgrade.
If your o2 gold you can upgrade 3 months early, platinum 6. Don't know what you are, contact them on 202 and ask when you can upgrade.:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -

can only upgrade and not update?
I know when i was on the simplicity i could update when they changed the £15 monthly to double mins and texts. Maybe cos i wasnt tied in hmm.
I wont be due for an upgrade till august anyway0 -
im so glad i started my contract before the changes, i would have had to pay more for my phone and more each month!0

You can only upgrade. You're in contract until the end of your minimum term on the plan you agreed to. And as you can't threaten to leave, you have no leverage to get them to do anything...0

3rd party company intranet. Staff have been told O2 tariff changes go live 26th February for new connections and 1st March for upgrading customers.0 -
hello
does anyone know if you can go onto a sim only, get the upgrade credit rather than a new phone and then upgrade after a month and get an iphone on new contract?
Thanks0 -

You'd need to go on a monthly rolling plan (or you'd be tied in for 12/18 months). I didn't think they give credit on those ??0 -
I think they do, unless I had a different contract in
oops
thanks0 -
Hi,
I've got a quick question: will one be put on these new tariffs automatically at the end of your minimum contract duration or only when you want to upgrade?
Many thanksYou can have God without religion!0
