    New tariffs look ****.
Be quick if you want to get a deal with o2, some of the main retailers still have the old tariff deals on their sites.

For upgrades, you can still have the old tariffs until Sunday.

My opinion is that O2 have missed a trick here. Instead of giving Unlimited texts on all tariffs, they should have looked at Unlimited Internet on more tariffs and revising the 'fair use policy'.

Apart from texters, I'm struggling to see who these new tariffs would appeal to, also if you are texter who uses MMS, this has been removed from the text allowance.

Voicemail is no longer free and is taken from mins allowance.

Can any one clarify this for me?

Are MMS no longer included in the texts allowance? (its says Your inclusive text allowance can be used for UK text and picture messaging, but the T&Cs say you will be charged, Picture messages or video messages sent to UK mobiles will be charged at 20p per message.)

If sending a text from abroad, will I be charged, or will they take 4 texts from my allowance, as previous?

Voicemail is this no longer free?

If you have "UNLIMITED TEXTS" with o2 , then they are not free to use while roaming or for MMS.

You have to have the texts that are an actual allowance of texts eg 500 texts these are the combi texts that are free to use abroad, they are trying to get customers off those now as they don't make them any money.

    Inclusive Messages and Message Charges
    1. Inclusive messages on O2 Pay Monthly tariffs (including iPhone tariffs) can be used for unlimited:
      • texts sent in the UK to UK mobiles,
      • (for 2009 Pay Monthly tariffs only and not 2010 tariffs), texts sent from abroad (including Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Mann),from your mobile phone for private, personal and non-commercial purposes. This excludes international texts. You may not use your SIM Card:

Those new tariffs are shocking i'll be sticking with my simplicity for Iphone.

Would the Simplicity for Iphone sims work in phones other than iphones? As a £20 per month with 600 mins , unlimited texts, and unlimited data and wifi seems good.

The only reason I was with O2 was because of the free texts abroad, now they've stopped doing that i'll not be able to upgrade or i'll lose mine, and the same tariff i'm on is £5 a month more expensive now!

Click on buy and read the updated small print. They have Unlimted texts.which are under different terms than the inclusive texts, they are like the unlimited bolt on texts terms
  • I really thought O2 would improve with these new tariffs.

I just don't see any benefit to any over the old ones.
