So sorry I didn't catch this thread until now - sorry things aren't going well for you. I really hope they will pick up soon.
The break from the b/f sounds the best thing for both of you and i'm sure that with all your har work, something will come up on the jobs front asap. At least you have been very sensible and saved up enought money to cover your outgoings.
Thinking of you

Hi Emmzi,
I have only just seen this thread, and just wanted to add my support. Times like this are so hard, I remember when I finished uni a few years ago I found it nigh impossible to find any job, I was always overqualified or not experienced enough. It does chip away at your confidence and make you feel like poop.
But this time will pass. Things WILL sort themselves out, and this difficult time will make you stronger. You are doing all the right things, and remember you have all of us DFW friends right behind you willing you to succeed. You will get that lucky break, just hang on in there.
Even though you kind of lose track of the applications after a while and feel a bit mechanical in the interviews, really try to act enthusiastic about each and every job, even if you don't feel it. Your acting skills may impress yourself!
Keep us updated,
Sarah xxYesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams
