Have spent morning applying for reasonably paid jobs in my old profession (financial services). Not my first choice, but beggars, and all that. I don't know if they'll take me after so long a break though...
This is driving me nuts. Loopy. I'm going from weeping to calm, but don't feel I'm getting anywhere. Grr!Debt free 4th April 2007.

Get your machine scanned. Look for viruses, trojans and keyloggers. Also run windows update and make sure you're up to date.
Reload the latest service pack, and then hit windows update again if you find nothing in the scan."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Worst day yet.
11am, still in PJs and have been crying for 2 hours for no reason in particular. Torn between going to docs for happy pills and knowledge that most of the jobs I go for will require some kind of medical report asking what you last saw the doc for. Happy pills not a good answer.
Just wrote huge email breaking up with b/f. Not that he's done anything wrong, he just isn't doing anything right and I can't cope with not having full support. (LIKE I GIVE HIM!!) Half of me hopesd he'll call and apologise and promise to all sorts of nice things; half of me knows the promises will be made with good intentions and not come to anything. Am probably better off alone; pointless hope is worse than anything.
Agency called about evil job selling insurance for a thirsd fo current wage. I said I'd go for a bloody interview. I hate selling insurance. I hate selling anything. But if this is what it has to come to.... well, it has. No point crying but I can't bloody stop.
Well, that's my pity party for today. Going for bath. Surely I must cry myself out soon? And when I do, it's time to get chocolate. Sod the budget today.Debt free 4th April 2007.

Perhaps the following is why you're crying?Emmzi wrote:Just wrote huge email breaking up with b/f.

Happy pills will help if you are irrationally depressed. You are not irrationally depressed. You've just broken up with someone - you can expect to be unhappy. At least for a while. Happy pills (barring hallucinagenics) are not going to change that.
Think about happy pills if you remain upset for an irrationally long period of time. But not before.Emmzi wrote:Well, that's my pity party for today. Going for bath. Surely I must cry myself out soon? And when I do, it's time to get chocolate. Sod the budget today.

Wish was dating Mr D'Arcy (bridget Jones version) who would be all heroic and just make things better.... still, if the film was like r/l it wouldn't be fiction, would it...Debt free 4th April 2007.

((((((((((Big hugs))))))))) Emmzi
I really feel for you.
Are you able to take a break for a couple days? Maybe stay with friends or even just go to the seaside for the day. You know, a change of scenery and to get away from all the stress, and recharge the batteries.
Take care and more hugsLightbulb moment: June 2006:shocked:
