Dunno, haven't explored the option yet, there must be an app for it, or at least something in development officially, surely.

Personal taste I guess! Thru my car Bluetooth on car speakers it sounds fine.

I have been following this thread and the Iphone one for a long time now but finally decided to go with the desire today!

Been looking all over the place for a good deal and many thanks to everyone that has posted as it has helped alot.

In the end i decided against my current provider o2. They wont have the phone for another 2 weeks and also i had a niggle about the data allowance. Looked at T mobile based on the 3gb allowance but the price kept creeping up and the coverage where i am isnt great, so went with Virgin media.
They have really impressed so far with the really helpful staff so i hope it is a sign of things to come.

    My contract :

    £30 pm 18 months
    Free phone
    600 mins
    unlimited texts
free Virgin to Virgin calls (bonus for me)
    Unlimited internet which is 1GB

Its the £30 that works for me, cheap enough with decent allowance and free phone - the Iphone was just working out far to expensive. Im happy with my choice of phone also and as many people are starting to say the Desire could even be better than the iphone?

There you go I fixed it for you! :rotfl:

Techradar think it's better than the current iPhone. that may change when the 4G is released though. Here's their review fo the 15 best phones available at the moment. Guess which is number 1?

It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

A really cool application for this phone is PDF Now. You can take a photograph with the Desire and the programme converts it to PDF which you can then email.

I was led to believe that Virgin use the T-mobile network so it wont help with your coverage.

You are correct. They do. I have had problems with T-Mobile's coverage. If you use T-Mobile's coverage map it will give you an idea of the coverage on Virgin.

that's interesting because when i put my postcode in the coverage map viewer with t-mobile then virgin i got 2 completely different results..

i suppose only time will tell.

at least i have the option to return the phone to virgin within 28 days - no questions asked - so will try it and see how it goes

I would believe those maps to much, I original signed up with Orange with my HTC Desire and I couldn't a signal in or around my house, my brother has the same problem and he lives about a mile away from me. But according to the map, we both should be getting great signal. I cancelled the contract and signed up with Virgin Media (T-Mobile) and get a great signal everywhere in and around my house, even though the map shows I shouldn't....

I don't know. I have the HTC Desire on O2 and get good reception. I just seemed to have trouble with T-Mobile in black spots.
