For once, I've yet to find an actual niggle with the phone. All issues are thus far, actually created by Apps.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

As above. This phone is amazing.
The standard battery is also not as bad as some people make out. I used my phone about average yesterday, with bit of internet browsing, wifi on all the time, phone calls and texts and I had 68% battery left last night.0 -
Thought the same as Jon B this morning, checked mine, time since disconnected from charger = just over 1 day, still well over half battery left.0

The only problem i have found is that when i use some apps i get a small ad at the bottom of the page about god and im not sure how to get rid of them do does anyone have any ideas?0

I would imagine that the Apps in question are free? If so then they are using advertising to secure some income for their developers in which case there's not likely to be a simple way of removing them. One thing to check would be to see if a ad free paid version of the App is available.!0 -
Some of the free Apps are ad-supported, as above. There should (hopefully) be a paid version of the same app that doesn't have the ads, if they annoy you that muchStarting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

I've just realised that GPS uses an absolute abomination of battery power. To be expected though.
First niggle. I can't stand the computer voice on Google Maps Navigation - but not really the phone's fault.0 -
Dunno, haven't explored the option yet, there must be an app for it, or at least something in development officially, surely.0
-
If you look at the settings for Google Navigation there's an option for "add voice data" but it's greyed out so I guess different voices may be available in the future. It is still in beta after all.
I'd agree the current voice is bl00dy awful though but other than that it's a superb bit of software.
It does hammer the battery but then my Garmin Nuvi only lasts 3 - 3.5 hours on the battery so it's not really any worse than that. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
