Hmm but really the 12 month deal is £40 per month... (yes yes it may say the "effective cost" is £30, but when you are paying monthly, you will have to budget for £40).

I managed to get my HTC Desire last Friday, through Voda upgrades. I must admit I am very impressed, probably the easiest to use mobile I have ever had. Just sorting through what apps to load but very impressed indeed.

I managed to get 18 month contract, 300 mins, unlimited texts and internet for £25 p/month. I cant see that I will use more than the 300 minutes so very happy with this deal.

I went for this deal on Saturday but am awaiting delivery. From the horror stories I have read yesterday about mobile phones direct I'm expecting to wait a while for it to be delivered

Other than the 1gb - 3gb T&C issue I had no problem with this company.

Wait a couple of days after you get it and then ring T-Mobile to ask them to upgrade the phone to the 3gb limit, down/uploads are faster with it.

Just spoke to one of MobilePhonesDirect customer service personnel via chat and they said HTC have confirmed that the next shipment of devices will be delivered on Monday 10th May. So here's hoping I will having it early next week. It doesn't really excuse them for lying about the stock levels on their site though.
