just tried to get this phone using retentions from t-mobile. I don't know what anyone else has got from them with this phone, but of the best contracts they offered me, it was £26 a month for 24 months, with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet. I would have taken it due to it being such a good phone, but can't afford it, ohwell!!Best Freebies/Wins/Testers so far: HP Officejet Pro 8500, Vax Zen, Thorpe Park Tks, 2x Rockwell Tkts, Windows 7, 2x Chelsea vs Arsenal Tkts, Genio Phone, JLS Tickets, 2 PSP games, 2 Xbox 360 games, iPod Touch, Blackberry Torch, Westlife Tkts, Tinie Tempah tkts, New York Trip AND MORE...Thanks to all posters on here:beer::T0

Can anyone say for certain if buying from a third party will limit the internet to 1GB rather than T-mobile's 3GB? I rang T-mobile today and the lady said it should be 3GB ragardless of where you buy the contract from. She didn't sound sure though! LOL0

Has anyone used mobilephonesdirect recently to get the desire and if so had any issues?
Thanks0 -

Good deal if you don't mind doing cashbacks and the fact that its out of stock (and has been for a while afaik)0

Don't get that - They have despatched it.
I also got £25 via Quidco!0 -
I went for the same T-Mobile deal on Mobiles today, didn't realise they had a lower internet limit
As above it's out of stock but they have them in the warehouse and it's been despatched.
Just got to wait for the Phones4U bag to return the broken phone now0 -
Regarding getting a lower internet allowance if you go via a third party this thread on the xda developers forum may be of interest.

I agree with the posts on there, I've been using google to try and find the limit on mobiles it looks like 2gb but everyone is saying 1gb yet I can't find any definition of the fair usage policy on the website.0

As far as I can see my scheme is advertised a Unlimited internet - subject to fair use and according to T-Mobile that is up to 3GB.

During my research Vodafone's limit is 500MB clearly advertised on their website.0
