Nothing in the small print T&Cs about that, the fact it has come from a third party seller makes no difference, the contract is with T-Mobile.

Pay monthly plans which include internet on your phone on an Android phone You'll need internet coverage, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck. Remember that you can only use your internet on your phone Booster in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use web'n'walk Plus for peer to peer file sharing, or making internet phone calls. *Internet on your phone comes with a fair use policy of 3GB a month. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our internet on your customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your plan, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much. As your phone is always connected to the internet, if you remove your internet on your phone Plus Booster from your account you'll automatically be charged up to £1 every day. That £1 a day rate has its own fair use policy and other legal stuff, which you can see here: t-mobile.co.uk/services/uk/fairuse/#fup5.
many of the 3rd party sellers for Tmobile like omio, cnet uk, etc quote 1gb for internet on desire on Tmobile network. cant be a misprint on all those websites.

has anyone been given a 3gb limit on 3 network. i tried to haggle for it but didnt succeed as was told they didnt have an option to sell more than 1gb limit. orange does price match etc, does 3 network do match plans from other networks plans. if so, then there might be some chance to get 3gb limit for internet on android phones if they match other plans.

Some dealers on some networks have their own packages, its dangerous to assume you get the same thing from one as you do from the network directly.

The T+C above come from the network, but if you're not buying from them they won't apply...

    Dangerous..............fantastic, I love danger.

When you buy the phone you are directed to and have to sign to say you have the T-Mobile T&Cs I quoted above.

If you get a Desire on T Mobile via a third party do you still get the flexible booster included?
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

Has anyone found a cheaper deal than the phones4u £25p/m, 300mins, unlimited texts and 500mb internet 18 months with Orange which comes with the handset for free?

I ordered yesterday, and went into phones4u and Carphone today to see if they could do that deal and they could get nowhere near! Unfortunately delivery isn't till Friday.

I took up this offer for both myself and my wife. We've canceled the contracts though because we were getting no reception in our house, which is a problem we never had with O2. I've therefore signed up with Virgin Media for 24 Months @ £25 a month, free phone, 600mins, Unlimited Texts, Unlimited Web (I think there is a 1Gb fair use policy). I got the phone free because I'm an existing Virgin Media customer.
What you have is a good deal, but I would be wary of the 500Mb web use limit with this phone. When you get your phone, download from the Android market an app called `NetCounter' which tell you how many Mb you are using daily/weekly/monthly etc.
Enjoy the phone though, it's great :j

Looks like another Phones4u phone is going back tomorrow, it arrived yesterday and whilst on charge I noticed it had switched off. So I left it off until it had been charged for a good few hours, picked it up last night and had a play with it, whilst adding my usual bookmarks it rebooted. The HTC logo came on and went off again, and then starting flashing whilst the phone vibrated!

Odd, so following the book, I removed the battery and restarted the phone, all working, so I carried on, it did the same.

Then this morning I take it out with me, wander into CPW looking for a case to find it dead.

Phone tech support in P4U and they reset it to factory. I bring it home and charge it again as the reset has killed the battery, pick it up and it's switched itself off again. I restart it, battery is full but within 5 minutes it's off again.

I've put it back in it's box and will send it back tomorrow :(
  • Where are these phones made??

voda were meant to be getting them in stock tomorrow and i was going to order one however i fear if there made abroad and brought in by air freight then they wont be arriving lol
