My DD came home from her holiday in Wales today and she bought me a lovely book from a charity shop....she knows i am a sucker for old books with inscriptions! Also she bought me a piggybank that is green and it says 'Gardening Fund' on the side of it. I love it! Also she bought me a great card telling me i am the best mum ever but on the cover is an hysterical ode to Pre-Menstrual Tension LOL!
And 2 x jars of humbugs! Bah humbug! I am a very lucky mummy. It was my daughters first holiday with her friends and with no grown ups. They've had a fab time...my life was very different when i was 18. So glad things are so good for her right now :-)Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

I never recieved anything frugal but today I gave a lady on freecycle my daughters pe kit that still looks like new but she has outgrown ready for her daughter when she starts secondary school in Sept.My daughter has a "new " one that was given to me quite a while ago via freecycle. Also put her school jackets and t shirts on freecycle as these look newish and will do someone a turn .The pe kit attratched 30 people asking for it so my daughter just picked a number between 1 and 30 and this is who it went to.Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0

At least 3lb of spuds from the garden. Thing is I didn't even plant them. They grew from the tiny ones I left in the ground last year :j and there's a few more plants yet to dig up.0
