Not today but yesterday I had a great find - a lovely stainless steel 6L Tower Rapide pressure cooker from the charity shop for the huge sum of £2.50! I'd been stalking the charity shop for ages hoping one would appear and finally it did. The most similar one I could find was £50 from Argos. I tested it out to see if the gasket was leaking, but it's perfect.

You used to be able to buy new gaskets if you need one - I bet John Lewis still sell them!

Mega workshop clear-out today (took 4 of us ALL day!). Lots of weird little knick-knack things that are no use to me but perfect car-boot fodder. About 20 items in total so even if it only adds a couple of quid it's still helpful :)

4 babycham classes for £2 at the fete I was at and 2 cauliflowers, 2 broccoli and a big bag of carrots for a quid at the market. :)
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Friend who only wanted money for wedding present got given a few "proper" gifts.
She passed onto me two beatiful hand turned beechwood bowls and an antique style brass lamp complete with shade!

A coat hanging plaque on the clearance rack for 10p, disgusting in colour originally but now glossed white, drying ready to be hanged.
