What frugal find came your way today?

OH fixed a small leak on a friends radiator the other day, and was given a large bag of venison
As I was on my way out, I told him to split it up into bags and put it in the freezer ..... have now found he's put the whole bag into the freezer ..... I'm now struggling to find some simple venison recipies to use it all up (and hopefully re-freeze the meals).

frugal finds today were of a foraging kind. Nettles for nettle soup at lunchtime. While walking the dog I have earmarked some young seabeet which we will pick for Sunday lunch and I think I have seen some watercress in a local stream, but the bank was a bit slippy today after a nights rain. I will go and have another look when the weathr is drier.Away with the fairies.... Back soon0

A pair of virtually new M & S chino trousers for my OH for £3.75 in a charity shop. Just needed to shorten them slightly as they were too long.0

This thread is really lovely! I'm just starting to get into old style moneysaving, and crawling back onto the DFW wagon with no spend days and grocery challenge. It's really nice to read posts that are so inspirational.
My best 'frugal find' was 2 huge bags of clothes from a colleague who's son had outgrown them. They're all the next size up ready for my little one, and having been through the bags today have realised that all my boy needs for his 18-24 month wardrobe is vests and PJ's! I bought her a £20 gift set from boots at Christmas time as a thank you - 6 months worth of mostly designer clothes for £20 = BARGAIN!
I love being frugal :-)*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0
