On my way upto town today bra shopping (ugh!!) had to get the bus some of the way as my overground isn't working for a few months. When I got off the bus I went past a charity shop and saw a woman in the window looking at a lovely top. I went in and she bypassed it. It turned out to be my size so I tried it on. It had a little hole where the seam had come away under the bust, so I mentioned this and the lady at the till charged me £2.50 instead of £5!! I also found a lovely pot with butterflies and brambles for £2 that we later saw in M and S for growing lilies for £15!! My daughter also bought a leather topshop bag for £6. I will definately look in there more often. I don't really look in charity shops anymore as the ones round my way are rubbish.

A set of 5 kitchen devil knives and block for £6.50 as it was half price in wilkinsons. Looked on-line when I got home and something very similar on amazon was £25 ish

Had my current knives for over 10 years and they are rubbish these are really nice and have a 10 year guarantee with them as well:j

Not used them yet but will have plasters handy just in case :rotfl:

  • Big empty sweet jars which were being given away for free outside a local "old-fashioned" sweet shop. DH can't understand what I want them for but I KNOW I'll find a use for them!

I picked up a laundry basket from freecycle yesterday and bought two pieces of gingham fabric in a CS for £1:50 and a bag with a union jack sequin on it for £1 which I am going to unpick and make into a cushion.
I love bargains! I plan to go to a Car Boot tomorrow Hope more bargains come my way!

No frugal find for me but gave my sister my dehydrator (she gave me a hamster cage last year). Bought a retro chest of drawers this week on Ebay (for £6) with a mirror attached and will be giving away the mirror on Freecycle.

I got my son a big bag of lego from the car boot for £5, he was so happy bless him! My carbooting ways may have backfired though, he now asks to go :)

I was on the lookout for a food processor and a breadmaker but no luck this week.
